This is my second Collecta model (have the rearing lipizzan) and I like it very much.


I tried out the Apoxie Sculpt right away:

I'm really liking the grey Arab!

The resculpt looks good so far! What color will she be?

I'm still not sure about the color...

This is the first time I tried bending plastic using hot water, the legs are very easy to deform, the neck could have used some more "cooking"

I'm still working on my WIPs and have also restored one old scratched model from the fleamarket.

I love your customs, and I LOVE the golden bay Akhal! How did you do that? It´s just AMAZING!

I mixed a lot of golden paint in the akhal teke's coat - but one must be careful not to overdo it

Nice horses, nice restoration work and wonderful comic book.
Maybe you could post some more pages of this comic, it look really nicely stylised?

Then I tried a "special" color - homozygous pearl on black or bay ("arabian" behind the dapple grey one):
(the color is not know within Arabian horse genepool, but I like my horse anyway)

Beautiful color! I think it looks even more beautiful than classic champagne, although quite similar. In pear however there is not so much difference between mane and fur colour and the effect is absolutely gorgeous, wow!

And, last but not least, a nice tovero paint stallion
I wasn't sure which color to go with here, I knew I wanted a light mane, but since I recently did a flaxen chestnut I didn't want to do it again - although the darker body would put more emphasis on the mane, well I guess he is ok...

The comic artist was Lena Furberg, she's drawn a lot of horse comics. The particular comic book is currently not reachable for me, it is at my parents house in Croatia.
Yes, hom. pearl adds a very special effect to the coat color - I like it.
Also has no champagne freckles.
