crocodiles (Papo & Schleich)

Here are all crocodiles from Schleich and Papo (just the new and green ones) together:

the Papo crocodile and the Papo gharial have more or less the same lengths!:

crocodiles

at the left the one from Papo, at the right the old from Schleich, in the middle the new Schleich (the new ones have a very similar pose)

the Papo one is glued together on four points

now we come to the mouth:

the Papo crocodile have definitely the better theeth, the Schleich's have round ones

But from my point of view inside the mouth, the one from Schleich is better:

alligator & caimans

the Papo one is titled as "baby crocodile" but I think it's more a caiman (besides the teeth), at the left side is the ols missisippi alligator from Schleich:

looks somehow strange I think

gahrials

the Schleich one looks more like a False gharial, so actually it must be under the crocodiles section

the one from Papo is definitely better, but the Schleich one is more than ten years older, I like both!

Very good and detailed comparisons   They have both strengths and weaknesses.

Although you try to give some balance between both companies. My opinion is completely different and clearly Papo Nile crocodile and garhial don't have competitors of similar quality from Schleich. Obviously it is just my opinion and those from Papo are not superior in every single aspect but in most part of them.

Papo Croc is really great !!
