Just a picture of how you start of where you start would be helpfull
I understand it's a steady hand you will need to even start with this

It's nothing really exciting honestly - for painting I start out with the model as you would buy it in the store, do hours of boring prepping, priming, more sanding, more priming, then lots of pastel layers and sealant layers. Etching is just scratching the paint off, also not exciting to watch I can try to get photos though of the process if you'd like.

Finished these two Stablemate etchies today.

I'm debating whether to sell them or keep them, I like how they both came out!

I am always honest LeeAnn, honesty is not a half time thing, we are or we are not. :) I love crazy things, I mean their pattern, the first looks a Hereford cow and the 2nd I haven't identified the cattle breed yet. That's crazy and maybe funny, I hope you don't take it as I am trying to ridicule your figures. Remember we love all animals and cattle are as much loved here as any other creatures. Also, that's quite silly from me once cattle and horses have a lot of similar coat colors.

Ah, I think what you're getting at is "flashy." No I didn't read your comments as ridicule at all - I find it amazing how a croc can compare a cow to a horse

Thanks Shanti! I'm usually not a big fan of splash actually, I did him in that way only because he had an ugly silver stamp on his belly from the factory (I ended up buying an older version of the same model, which didn't have the stamp). It was either splash or sabino to cover that up and having done a sabino already I was all in for a splash!
