| It has a little vintage-y look to it. Im no expert either but I like it. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | It's pretty well a retrosaur, but IMO it could be better. I'm happy with the new Carnegie Brach. The orbitals in the skull make it look anorexic. Maybe I'll do a photoshop fix like Elephas maximus did (realy nice, by the way). |

| I don't fully understand Mojo Fun's reasoning behind this, but there is probably a good explanation. I'm assuming that Mojo Fun has a market that is not in direct competition with other brands. If so, then it makes sense for them to make popular types of animals (including dinosaurs), ones that folks in that market will want to have.
However, if they're marketing this Brachiosaurus to consumers who have a choice of which Brachiosaurus they'll purchase, I don't see this model as a serious competitor. There are already too many well-liked Brachiosaurus models out there (e.g. the Wild Safari, the Carnegie -- both older and more recent, the Papo), and this one is not a particularly strong model I'm afraid. |

| No real sensation yet, hope Mojo will apreciate the ideas for the elephant. |

Welcome back on forum Philipp, I agree that this year there's a huge lack of sensation in Mojo range. I hope the remaining figures are more exciting. |

| How big is the brachiosaurus? Only good, when he is bigger than the papo one. But the papo one is the best. _________________ |

I think Carnegie's new one is more accurate and personally,I think it's as well better. |

| I feel lousy that I'm not warming up to more of Mojo's releases this year. To me, the legs of this Capybara -- the front legs especially -- don't seem quite right. Too long and thick perhaps? It's not a bad sculpt though. |

| Hmm... I don't know what it is about this particular capy, but I like safari's and CollectA's better. What's up with Mojo this year? Hope there's something better coming. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | *yawn*
Of course Mojo doesn't have a Capybara in their collection yet, so I understand this choice. But why not a sitting Capybara? Something NEW and INVENTIVE and still cute.
Mojo! Come on! Wake up! This is boring. _________________ Simone |

| Amen to that, my friend! Once again Collecta set an example and released a different south american rodent, a chinchilla! - Duck-Anch-Amun wrote:

| It's actually too bad this Capybara isn't worse. If it were downright awful, we could refer to it as a Crappybara. But it's not a bad Capybara at all. It just doesn't appear to be quite as strong as the two existing Capybaras available from safari and collecta. (as others have pointed out above.)
I am still holding out for a rockin' wildlife model from Mojo for 2015. Just one.
(And if that doesn't happen ... oh well. Mojo will likely come back strong in 2016. I have faith.) |
