| The blue whale is beautiful, one I would love to own, but at that price... |

| Looking at the photos above again, I'll re-emphasize my dislike for the base because, in addition to the reasons I noted above, if you look at the shot of the girl holding the figure, it looks far better and more dynamic (to me) in the diving position.
My source is already seeing the figure advertised elsewhere for less but I won't talk specifics until it is released, since multiple factors will come in to play that will determine its cost to my buyers. |

| It's wonderful but probably the shipping price would be very high and additionally the price of this whale would not be cheap too so all together it may make the price that is for me way too high _________________ Anna Horse and Bird studio - Horse sculptures My model horse collection

| My source reported that, due to its not having significant weight, shipping one whale figure to the US would cost only around $17.
If the price I can get makes sense for my buyers, I'd have my source ship these directly to them, bypassing me and the added shipping cost. |

| Mega Sofubi is a new Kaiyodo line of larger pre finished models. I bought the Nautilus submarine from this line recently. |

They are town pigeons and are pests. That's funny, as the other day, I overheard two pigeons referring to humans as 'pests.' The pigeons may be a nuisance (yes, I've lived in the big city), but at least they aren't engineering the Sixth Great Mass Extinction in Earth's history... e:) :D :D
As a collector, I was extremely pleased to see the pigeons. I'm really looking forward to getting these.
Me too! I've been wanting for companies to release more common, "everyday" birds :) And I actually like real-life pigeons... They're cute. :) _________________ Krista || zombiebambiraptor.blogspot.com

| Along with a good number of Animatales, Aquatales/aquarium, and Capsule Q Museum figures (and plenty of Dinotales and other dinosaur/prehistoric figures), there are some Kaiyodo special figures/rarities I have available now or in a pending shipment, due early next month.
Foremost is the first, a crazy rare set, which I bought to obtain a giant salamander to, after all these years, complete my own Kaiyodo collection.
Kyoto Aquarium set--either complete or missing one giant salamander, or selling a giant salamander on its own followed by selling the other figures from the set Shinigawa Aquarium archer fish Aquatales 30th Anniversary resin sailfish Aquatales 30th Anniversary resin bottlenose dolphin Dinotales secret sphenodon/tuatara Study Room resin bongo Animatales secret strawberry tree frog pair--red Animatales secret big-headed turtle--brown and green versions Capsule Q Museum complete Yaeyama set Capsule Q Museum complete mountain set LAST MONTH'S RELEASE Capsule Q Museum complete insect/arachnid pest set NEW THIS MONTH Capsule Q Museum complete frog set NEW THIS MONTH Hoikkado snowy owl on strap Hoikkado trout eating fish many Ashiyama zoo figures and ZoorAsia Lunch figures including the snowy owl
The following shipment from Japan--expected in March--should contain the Capsule Q gecko, Japanese invasives, and soil life sets. And the large blue whale releases about that time, though I doubt I'd be the best source for that.
Thanks. |

| Another acquisition available for sale...the complete Aquatales Kyoto Aquarium set containing the two Japanese giant salamander and two salamander larva...likely the rarest and most difficult Kaiyodo animal set to acquire. I spent a small fortune for it because the giant salamander was the last figure I needed to complete my collection, and planned to sell the remaining figures. Then, part of a rather horrible chain of coincidences, one of them was listed on it's own several days later--for a smaller small fortune. I bought that one thinking it would be easier to sell the complete set, though I'm willing to go either way. Don't get too excited though. They cost me a heck of a lot even buying directly from Japan and I obviously need to at least recoup what I paid. I have the set on eBay for $200. I'd go a good bit lower for a direct sale. I'd also break up the set for the right combination of buyers, so please e-mail with any interest in either the complete set or one or more individuals from it. Link to my listing: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]The figures are en route to me this week. Thanks. |
