It is just an ordinary Bengal Tiger, and a bit too fat, I suppose, but it is SO beautyful
I love the  orange  "islands" in the stripes, and the warm, wonderful colours

Yeahhhh  that`s my choice too  - a bengal tiger :)))

I didn't knew that stripes of tigers are different
I checked those ones about who Noémi said, and I liked Sumatran tiger very much He is close to Bengalian one, but look at him

Just , the Sumatran tiger is much smaller then the bengal...and also has a bit more ```fat `` body..
And also I`l keep the Sumatran strips for an other project )

17. Small repainting step for today But big step with choosing a tipe of a tiger
I painted the back of the ears and firts strips on the neck.
So, What I`m trying to do, when I`m making the strips...?
I want them  to look more natural, so I don`t draw them so ``perfect`` like a lines.
Let`s don`t forget , that this is a not short fur... :) It can`t be like a zebra`s strips ...
That`s why I make them like this :



Sorry, the photo is not perfect with colors...
I`m using small brush, and a bit more dry.

And the most important thing : My black color is mixed again with brown and ochre paints.
You allready know why

His head already looks real

I agree that the Sumatra Tiger is SOOOO beautyful

But the model does not really have the build of this, the smallest of the tigers ...as far as I know, of course

Hmm, for more then a week, my tutorial is sleeping...  
...of course, becouse of me.. I asked him (the tutorial), can he continue by himself..but, he said NO...
sooo I`m back to take again everything in my hands

Today, I started very late, so my photos are not good with the light, but I hope, that you can see what I did so far...

18. Continue with the strips.
Let`s first see the photos :







So, like I said on step 17. , I`m trying to make the strips to look more natural.. I don`t draw them so ``perfect`` like a lines... I`m using the texture of the fur to help me for that.
When I`m painting the strips, I don`t use so much paint.. And , they are two ways, which I use..
First is with more dry brush... and second, which is also good : with more water in the paint.
Especially the second one, I`m gonna use on the white parts of the tiger...and I`m gonna explane why, and how, with the next steps

19. More strips on diferent places of the body.

and the strips, from the white parts of the tiger`s body :





Now, I`ll explain, my technique for the strips in the white parts.
I`m using the same color, like for the other strips, but this time, I mix the paint with more water.
Like this, the paint become more transparent...
And when I paint with it, the color goes more dark, in the more deep places of the texture...and more light, and transparent in projections of the texture.
So , this is my way of doing this...and maybe my last ``secret`` of painting technique
