| Pumas are another interesting feline to be sculpted. As their fur color is not distinctive, sculpt is absolutly determinant to turn the figure identifiable. Not easy to get everything correct, I know head is specially important and not easy to get correctly. Could you please use larger pictures, 800 px is nice enough, 400 px is very small, unless for me. |

I noticed that too! It's looking quite nice! Thanks, but it depends how long you stay sculpting. These days I am not very busy and I have plenty of free time... As a prove this is already the walkaround: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Very nice! Maybe you can give a more vertical shape to ears and turn more conspicuous the vertical line splitting forehead. However, check it before any kind of changes. Recomendations from a non sculptor are often compromised for an important lack of experience and these figures are very small so I don't know the level of detail possible to execute on them. :) |

| It is incredible!!! It looks like if you were inside of my brain. I was wondering was no fine in the face of my puma and it is exactly what you said. I am now in the process not only to change the ears to a bigger ones but also to emphasize cheeks... I will show you the final result.
Thank you again for so valuable advises. |

| Very nice model Mgarat :)) Nice colors too..:)) Will be great if you change the ears, good point from like Roger and you allready knew this by yourself :) And good choice for the cheeks too :)) I want to say just for the eyes...I think, that they are a bit bigger...but I allmost shure, you can`t change that.. With bigger cheeks, maybe this will be fixed better :))

| You think is not possible to reduce the size of the eyes? If I were you I wouldn´t bet on it... I don't know if the final result will be better or worse but I am decided to make bigger ears, highlight cheeks, turn more conspicuous the vertical line in the forehead and REDUCE THE SIZE OF THE EYES!!!!. Then we will see. Anyway, thank you ery ery ery much for your good directions |

| Ok, so, for me now the cheekbones are a bit bigger....in the previous version, they were ok, just to make them more highlight . And the cheeks, can me a bit bigger :) What I mean is this : [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And the real examples : [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I hope, I can help with that... |

| These pictures are external links so no credits needed. Pay atention to the shape of the nose, from the region between eyes to the nasal holes. The darker hairs and markings help you understanding what is different from your figure. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]This second picture is to explain about the top of the head and ears. Between ears, it is almost a straight line with a central depression, almost no elevations close to the ears but instead a harmonic connection with the base of the ears giving it an almost trapzoidal shape. Ears are nice, longer indeed, but now notice the outer flanks. They are wavy almost like a butterfly wing. The left ear of your puma (my right hand), seems slightly wavy but the other not. Eyes are not easy to explain, your figure have them obliquous what seems natural for a feline. Though, if you notice, the dark lines outmarking the top of the eys are almost parallel with the top of the head if you take it as a straight line. What makes them appear more obliquous than they are, is when the dark strip drops towards the lacrimal region and the dark area that outlines the bottom part of the eye. It is always hard to explain and quite stressfull to the sculptor. So, don't change anything if my explanations are not clear or if you just don't agree. | So, I almost have to remake the entire head and even part of the neck. In order to avoid distractions while sculpting I cover it again with prime . The only thing I think is pending, apart from polishing, is to highlight the supraorbital ridge with a very small piece of clay to bury a little bit the eye globes mainly in the top and inner sides, what I think will make the eyes a little bit smaller. Then this is how it is now. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| I think that's a big improvement! it looks more realistic now I don't know if that was what you meant in your comment but I think adding a bit of clay above the eyes will make them sit deeper in skull like it is in reality. What do you think? Or is that what you were going to do anyway? _________________ Anna Horse and Bird studio - Horse sculptures My model horse collection

| Very good job, the touches that have made fully believe that improve and give the model a perfect look of a puma. !! _________________ Miguel [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Likaon - Wildlife Models Shop http://www.likaonmodels.com/ My homemade models : www.signatustudio.com |
