I know it means bullfinch, I was looking for an interesting bird name for that horse, but I don't know if in Russian the word meaning bullfinch is a female or male word? And could it be written "Snegir" or rather "Snigir", because two sources translate it in two different ways.

You haven't worry, «снегирь» is male word I would write «Snegir», cause actually we pronounce it like something between «snegir'» and «snigir'». Hope I helped you

About the colour, well, he must first go to moulding and then I get several copies so each can be of different colour I would like to make one dapple grey and maybe one grey with depigmentation like on Balagur (I think you know? the famous one that was competing in dressage? ) Maybe I will try also different then grey, they can be chestnut, black or bay sometimes, don't they?
