Anna's Horse Sculptures-update-November 29th 2022

Anna, you are turning in a legend among horse sculptors and you're still very young. I really hope your carreer keeps growing in a consolidated way and that your fabulous sculpts find a way to all of us even if they need to be mass produced in toy shape.
We can see in these sculpts, namely the smaller foal, how realistic are your figures, mainly when there is no children safety limitations and you can make them as much delicate as these animals are in real. Again, the movement is superb and I only can tell good things about it. Thanks for choosing our STS as the first place to share these works.

STS has a few good stories like yours to tell. STS is a part of you but you are surely a important part of it. Contrarily to me, you are here since this forum started several years ago. I was pointed later to this community, by Ken, and one of the first things I remember watching, it was the ABC fever... the Anna's Bongo Club. I thought, oh, this hobby is more serious that just searching figures for my niece. Thanks to you, I am a member of ABC too.

I have an update today, some more work done on the mare and foal ... and a new tiny model, also not finished yet. It will be a Shire horse in scale 1:64, the smallest I ever attempted to sculpt!

Your horses figures breed. I've never seen it before in a figure.
It is impressive that you make a sumptuous mini of the gentle giant. 1:64 scale means half the measurements of a Britains or Stablemate, actually, eight times less the volume. It is something really tiny and the figure looks so grand.

About the mini's proportions, yes, I'm adding more clay to the body, that will make him look more balanced

Anna, gorgeous sculpting as always.  It seems like a daunting task to create such realistic and expressive faces! Roger mentioned your 1:64 project but if I had not looked carefully I wouldn't have recognized it, because in the picture of it alone it could pass for a much larger model. It will be very interesting to see how it turns out.
