Schleich 2017 Wishes/Speculations!

Hello everybody,
The 2016 Schleich animals are currently making their way into stores across the globe so I think it might be time to start discussing our wishes/speculations for Schleich 2017. Please feel free to add your opinions and hopes down below, and also any 2017 Schleich news.
I don't really have any wishes for any models for next year, but I do hope Schleich will release some endangered species in their wildlife range. This year we have seen 'replacements' of some of the older wildlife models such as new elephants, giraffes, a new cheetah etc. I think we can agree Schleich will more than likely release a new zebra family, but some more unusual species would be nice. This year a new oryx is set to release but maybe a rare antelope species for next year?  
I am very interested to hear what all of you lovely people would like for Schleich 2017!


- Also wouldn't a new Schleich okapi (of course in a smaller scale than the last  ) be amazing!

I neeeeed a flipping friesian foal!

Musk ox, an other gemsbok and a calf, some other antelopes, some wild cattle would be nice too. And maybe even some rare deers.

I'm very new to all this, but looking back at retired models, it seems like they tend to update the same animals rather than introduce new ones, which is a shame.

Schleich seems to do mainstream animals and not the rare or unknown ones like CollectA gives us. They do update their older ones. I, of course, would like to see African animals. Even though Papo is making an Impala, I wold like to see like Schleich make one, or a Grant's gazelle.

Don't worry Susanne, I haven't got any of them either, I live in NZ and it takes a long time for new models to arrive. The 2015 wildlife accessories haven't even arrived in store yet which is disappointing as I wanted to get a few as well as the watering hole.

Yes it is a bit of a shame, however if a new zebra family is released next year, most of the African wildlife should be "up to date" in Schleich's book of course which leaves opportunity for new wildlife species. That's what I'm hoping for anyway, but we can never be sure with Schleich...

2)Andalusian stallion.
3)Bashkir Curly stallion.
4)Shire foal.

It is a pity that I wait them for every year with big excitement, and they do not impress me at all.

As they made a flamingo, I changed it for a rhea.

My tips are the horses, we've heard about, but haven't been released yet - Thorougbred, Westphalian, New Forest pony and Half-Arabian...

What I would love to see the most for 2017... I guess more and new dinosaur models! For animals, I tell you what I definitely want: arthropods! I know Schleich has done some already but I can´t find any of them in stores. I want a centipede (preferably the giant centipede from South America), an emperor scorpion, a stag beetle and a praying mantis.

i would like

1) Javanese pony (in strange colors like dun tobiano and cremelo)
2) Dutch belted cow (brown and black)
3) multipele likenesses to make a more realistic pride
4) exotic animals that not a lot of people know about
5) puma
6) salamender
7) rolling or laying down horse (or both)
draft horse in front of a removable sulky
9) porqupines
10) fennek fox
11) painted donkey
12) angry rearing horse stallion
13) hornbill couple
14) binturong
15) tiger female's en cub siblings

And i would like them to stop whit the ridicules poses like the most recent Arabian mare has

Anyway, I wish more draft horses!

First off Release the small dinosaurs that are in the playsets in there own little pack

I don't know why I would be hoping for exotic animals and rare breeds with Schleich anymore
They do their own thing anyways, all for the sake of selling and money. I know I sound very pessimistic and I know not all of you agree. But Schleich is just to big to really care about what 'some' collectors think.

So no WL for me for 2017....

I understand that you are a business, I work in a large company and always most important is economic results, they know that is sold and aims to the general public. Children always want the big 5 African, these should always be in the catalog.

They could create a special new line for collectors, with some good old molds like whales made in Portugal, and new figures less common animals that may be desired by collectors and the general public.

I've wanted a mule since like 2011

Schleich is for collectors also. Animals like the Dunkleosteus let me hope, that they will make another rare species in prehistoric.
So i wish:

- a bigger Stegosaurus (the actual one is a young one)
- mini Carnotaurus
- Carnotaurus (small and normal) in an another colour

Prehistoric mammals:
- Uintatherium

Bayala:
- more fantasy uncommon animals
- coloured elves

Farm:
- Guinea pig
- Guinea pig babies
- Akita Inu

Wild Life:
- Ocelot
- European Wildcat
- Przewalski horse (stallion, mare, foal)

Eldrador:
- New knights for both griffin and dragon site
- female knights
- A queen
- castle people (damsel, house maid, blacksmith, servants)
- griffin baby
- a new knight group (maybe scorpion knights, rat knights or werewolf knights for example)

Romans:
- Centurion
- Different Legionaires
- Emperor (Caesar)
- Senator
