Schleich 2017 Wishes/Speculations!

It really looks different, first I tought it could be the one from Bullyland, but that one looks different too so I think it could be a new elephant for July 2016 or even 2017.

Then i guesss it will be more birdds monkeys and maybe another snake for jungle spiecies.
Nothing new i think, we will see !

I would really love male elves in the Bayala line. I really need some. I wish Schleich actually read through these topics...

Oh oh! I would love a Zatanna, a Static, and a Nightwing. And a Green Arrow and Black Canary!

I think it would be very possible for "Suicide Squad," "Wonder Woman," & "Justice League: Part 1" figures & maybe even Lex Luthor & Doomsday figures, especially if the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" figures sell well. I also figure Schleich will do the same with the Marvel movies from the past few years--"Captain America: Civil War," "Guardians of the Galaxy," & "Avengers: Age of Ultron" along with previous MCU villians--new ones like "Doctor Strange," & maybe even the TV series like "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." & "Daredevil."

Plenty of comic book characters are available though, although I don't think they need multiple poses like they did with Batman & Superman. I do hope that they do introduce some that are unknown to many people, including me. I find it nice to know about comic book characters before they pop up on the big screens and a little surprise here & there would be nice, once most of the major ones are taken proper care of.

I really look forward to see some more bird models, especially ones of species that were not done by other brands yet. As I can imagine, it might be difficult to realize smaller bird species without totally mixing up the scales, but for example SCHLEICH already surprised me with the puffin, sea gull and this year's beautiful flamingo! :)

My suggestions for some more bird diversity on my SCHLEICH shelves would be:

- Magnificent Frigate Bird
- Crowned Crane
- Secretary Bird
- Harpy Eagle
- Rhinoceros Hornbill
- Seriema
- Kakapo
- Bird of Paradise
- Raven

Why not some extinct birds as well? Sure, they might not really fit to the new concept of SCHLEICH's prehistoric and dinosaur figures, which sadly have moved a bit away from scientific accuracy to more spectacular forms and colourings without large concern to an approximately correct scale. However, we have seen some more prehistoric figures of SCHLEICH in the past (e.g. prehistoric mammals), so why not start a prehistoric bird line for some change? My suggestions would be:
- Great Auk
- Phorusrhacos
- Pelagornis
- Teratornis
- New Zealand Moa
- Madagascar Elephant Bird

The New Zealand moa and elephant bird of Madagascar would be a good addiction Schleich figures.

They could also make a Uintatherium, Paraceratherium, elasmotherium, embolotherium, teleoceras among other figures of rhinos and the like. In his line of prehistoric mammals.

I hope they will expand the line of environments opened two years ago with the African waterhole, river, cascade, cave and the mini marine dioramas. They offer a balance between realism and playable that make them suitable for collectors and children.

Since I study wildlife for a living, I gravitate towards the wildlife and sea life lineups. I'd like to see more North American wildlife represented.

Well, I would like to say, if you know Schleich does not have any idea of a new model, please tell the employees that collectors (including me) would like a banteng bull, cow and calf. They should be from the bornean banteng subspecies. Please, suggest to Schleich that collectors want bornean bantengs for the next spring 2017!
