Actually now in Africa it is impala lambing time! 3 days ago new babies were born!!

So nice, I took so long to reply that those lambs are grown up now, I'm sure.
I assume your impala ewe is not interested in that ram just because of that small horn deffect. Some ewes are terribly prejudiced.

I have some images for the wiki! I will slowly post them here over the coming weeks, or if a currently active editor would like them I can send them all privately (PM me).

Here are a few more before life gets me too busy.

This is a K&M bendable(?) flying fox my young nephew found at a thrift store. He kindly allowed me to marvel at it and snap some photos for our wiki.









Then this is a New Ray fishing set I purchased. I have no info on it from ebay but here is the card it was attached to for packaging.

That New-Ray fishing set is really interesting, particularly for what's on the card. There is a new company name and location. Popak New-Ray Mfg. Ltd. Dongguan China. I have updated the New-Ray page on the wiki to include that info. Dongguan turns out to be just up the river from Hong Kong. Either the company has been sold to a new owner or it has changed headquarters location for a different and probably bigger yet less expensive factory.
Question for editors, do we add the new name to the makers directory with a redirect to the New-Ray page?

Just as a commentary for the brand name, some of the models nowadays are stamped as Popak New-Ray. You can even search that name on ebay and get results for the figures.

Found this guy at a toy store in a basket of misc. animals & cannot figure out who made him. Any ideas?

I have that as a "snow leopard", but haven't seen that color nor know the maker either.

I too have this as a Snow Leopard which is by Wild Republic so maybe a variant of this?

Sorry for the delay Andreas. The k&m bat I showed is from this series I think, its about 6 or 7 inches in wingspan (quite big). Your AAA bat is marvellous!

ATENTION: I added a few pictures on TAW, not all.
Namely the Naturalism sloth and bear. Paige, do you have the paper with the scientific name of the sloth? I believe it is a brown-throated sloth but I'm not sure.
I added also the Chap Mei tiger cub but not yet the others.
If the K&M bat is a variation of the one listed on TAW, I need that someone suggest a name to distinguish one from the other.
I'm not knowledgeable about fish to sort the New-Ray set. It belongs to New-Ray USA Fishing sets, anyone to help?
I haven't listed Andreas pictures either.

Jolie, the Bullyland blue-ringed octopus belongs to a series called Under Water of the extensive Safari line by Bullyland.
It is listed under Bullyland Whales and Sharks, Large on TAW.
It was how Bullyland models were traditionally listed but the names of the series are updated and we can't change everything anytime a new name is given to a series.

Thank you Roger! I was confused on where it was on TAW

I added Paige's Chap Mei figures on TAW. Squirrel monkey and red pandas are babies actually even if we are not listing them like that. I was not aware Chap Mei had released a trio of red pandas.

I would really love to see your hippo collection. Please if you find time, share your collection with us and let us know why you decided to collect hippos. We love those stories. We have on forum collectors of hyenas, rhinos, dingos, dogs, horses, foxes,goldfish, etc. I think you are the first one dedicated to hippo figures.
