New 2016 Yowies USA series now available!

Ok i was shopping at Wal-Mart today and i wanted to get a new yowie, But something looked different on the box. It said that there was a new Exclusive North american Collection. so i got one and it is indeed something new




Also the Cases are larger now and are covered in more Chocolate that i think may taste better now.



Now i have no idea how many new ones are there. as i just discovered them today. and the website lists nothing about them yet.

The article above lists a Yowies using new chocolate maker and distributor. Which explains the difference in chocolate. And a slightly different capsule design.


I suspect that your Walmart either pulled the box early, drew the lucky test release straw, or ran out of the prior batch early.

Oooo! I just got a few of these at Walmart last week and noticed the packaging and chocolate was different, although it was still the original series...not the new ones. I will definitely have to check out Walmart on Monday when I go take money out of the bank! Thanks for the infos!

Great work Takama, finding a new unusual bird species and a fuse to a new explosion of Yowies! Please friends keep the great work, I am crazy to know what is Yowies bringing this time, I wished so much a grey fox is available in this new series and they did exactly what I suggested, a North American series.

No species on this little bird? How was the packaging different from the others? I looked today at my Walmart and haven't found anything unusual but I will keep looking for new models if possible. I did notice the different capsules and chocolate was different, though I don't know if I'd go as far as to say its good but it is better than before.

I checked my Walmart today. No new Yowies yet!

So I ask their Facebook page and got an answer of sorts. Or rather a non answer:

On their fan page, on June 25, the fan page told someone named Tiffany that a new series will be out soon. So not holding breath.

So... I got a second message from the Facebook Yowie official page just a few minutes ago:

"A new version of the Yowie World web site will be launched soon and the 'All American Collection' will be detailed from September 1 :) Enjoy the new ones... there are reports of people finding them at Walmart, etc, already!"

Apparently Takama's good news reached them. :)

Also, I found a few of these two days ago but wasn't able to post and now they beat me to it. But I have the jaguar, phantasmal frog, woodpecker, manatee, pupfish, and tiger salamander and I plan on getting more tomorrow (I will post pics in my new models thread tomorrow too). Great lineup of animals for this year, many exciting models.

The prairie chicken, tamarin, condor, etc. are most exciting for me I think but I'm excited to see what people can turn up.
