| Maybe I’m wrong but the eyes look a lot like probiscidians eyes and I think we see a trunk not a horn. |

looks too smooth to be a proboscis, but it could be a tusk, supporting a proboscidian. But, I screwed up the triceratops guess last time so I am not going to be so daring LOL |

| This wasn't a brand I was familiar with before joining here, I've spent a while looking through their past figures and I'm really impressed. I know it's not a not very exciting area to most prehistoric collectors, who favour more visually striking dinosaurs or megafauna, but I hope one day we could eventually see some horse ancestors from them, - that's something my collection is entirely missing right now and a gap I'd love to fill. |

| Yes, but Eofauna look so much more scientifically and anatomically accurate, as well as elegant and expressive and detailed in the sculpt style, than the toy-type brands, so I'd have particularly high hopes for their interpretation [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| tams7prairie on eBay produced a 1/9 eohippus and mesohippus. I have the former models with basis and they are awesome, I think the new ones are even better. |

| Rhynchotherium is a good guess, but many people on facebook , said that it is maybe a Stegotetrabelodon. And watching pictures of the tusks, maybe they are right.. But let`s see :) |

| from Eofauna's description:
KONOBELODON ATTICUS A gigantic and very advanced amebelodontid that represents the final evolutionary stage of the European shovel-tusker clade. It is characterized by enormous, dorso-ventrally flattened mandibular tusks and very large, straight upper tusks. |

| Not the most spectacular of the proboscidians but a very interesting choice. I think it also complenents decently their collections considering that they intentionally want to provide us a rich range of proboscidian models. With EoFauna, one thing is for sure, it will be a top quality model. |
