Now again a nice meeting between a old composition dog and and a young one by Schleich.

Schleich Saint Bernard is released in 1994 and old composition dog by Hausser Elastolin is made around 1950.
What breed is the dog by Elastolin ? Also St. Bernard or a kind of farm dog ?  study

I like both figures and I think the Lineol is probably a ST. Bernhard from 4th generation. It is not so different from the 3rd generation figure.
You're building an impressive collection of old composition dogs. cheers

Oh, yes - that´s from Figurenmuseum.  Shocked  This one look like an older version as my "Elastolin dog."

Hmm, I don´t know, you are probably right, but it could be also a dog from the Elastolin dog series in 1950. question
For example there are so many examples in differents websites.

Perhaps Susanne can have a look in the Elastolin book by Mr. Raue ?  study Please can you have a look there, dear Susanne ? bounce

I know, Elastolin has made some dogs, which looks similar.

Here the dog from a collectors and dealers website.

Here an other offer at Ebay for an Lineol Bernhardiner. Only an example because of the picture. Ebay often is wrong with describtion.
