Yes they do! Interns for Design and PR relations for example :) Look up Da Vinci Creations on YouTube, he is an intern and has an very interesting video about Schleich. They use 3D computer technology for example to design their models nowadays. They 3D print them out and make a mold that way.

The 3D designing could be amazing, look at MiniNature’s work! I got the feeling Schleich uses it to much as cutting and paste tool to craft a new horse. And it does explain the strange manes.

I agree that 3D designs can look amazing. In fact, this seems to be how most models are sculpted these days. I actually have nothing against cutting and pasting (or more accurately, modifying existing CG models) as a technique since it can lead to more beautiful art. The sculptor can better focus on getting the details right while leaving the underlying structure correct. However, I also don't like it if it's used as a crutch for not changing enough of the sculpture. Unfortunately, this seems all to common from Schleich.

Is there a new Friesian "Princess" on the photos? It really reminds me some of already known models, but can't say which one... and what about the black pinto in the house set? Looks kinda promising...

I think 3D technologies and printing is going to be used more and more, I saw some really good things made and printed with it, but it's in hands of creators, whether they do it properly or just take a head from one horse, add legs from another, stick it to some random horse body...cause some of Schleich horses really seems (at least to me) to be made this way...

Advent Calendar's for this year

Sorry for the spam, but I am wallowing in the realization that the only available juli-december catalogue slipped through my fingers and I hate it so much!

There's a couple models we haven't seen yet. I saw a small cat in the house set.

I am wondering what breed the dun horse with the purple is? and I like the colour of the advent calendar mare but its yet another repaint of a model
