COLLECTA 2018: DINOSAURS - 88838 - Feathered T-Rex-roaring-with Movable Jaw - Deluxe 1 by 40 Scale

I've got this good news from Collecta:

"This year's development of our Pre-historic line is finalized by a new T-Rex: Fans have asked CollectA for a more traditional scaled tyrannosaurus, and the new theory that adults were less heavily plumaged than the young of the species has given us the opportunity to design a new model of an adult with head and dorsal plumage only. It is portrayed as roaring."

Now it is explained the retirement of the recent feathered T-rex from CollectA. Here is a more traditional looking one. I understand, a less feathered T-rex and without a base, is potentially a better performer in terms of sales. That's the only reason I see to justify this release. Even the pose, with the head upwards, may surely be just a way to help balancing better the figure and prevent it from falling forwards. It seems bulky, with a strong tail, very small and correctly positioned arms. The scaly effect is nice but it seems to lack muscular definition. I accept it is more accurate than Papo«s T-rex but for a traditional rex, no other has the same impact of Papo's. Welcome Tenor-rex!

The size for this figure will be: 34 cm long and 16,5 cm tall.

Yes Susanne I sure will ! I have the three of them , Senõr T.Rex senior has warped legs and is bending touching his chin to the floor !! There are serious issues in the pose , but it's a great figure
