Sometimes it is better to look. Today i have seen that the large Safari Ltd Albatros have blue legs and a yellow beak. So it could be more a Galapagos albatros.

Whoa that's a good observation, Andreas. I have the Papo one, which I assume is just the wandering albatross. Water birds are my next, upcoming focus group once they all come in. |

No, because of its colouration the Papo Albatross is a Black-Browed Albatross.

You are welcome. I also thought it would be a Wandering Albatross in the first place. But then I observed the total dark colouration of the wings and the dark brow-like structures above the eyes. Moreover, it is the most common species of Albatross. I'm a microbiologist, but my hobby cleary is the zoology. But I still have much to learn about Arthropods. Maybe we can learn from each other

That's great. So, we really can learn from each other. My specification is fungal microbiology like Lichtheimia or Aspergillus and clinical microbiology.
