Wonderful that you find time to bring this wonderful initiative back. I love traditions and I hope more people join it.
However, considering who is already showing interest, I believe even if just a few join, it could be equally fantastic!

We would love to have you join in! Basically, you paint a model for an assigned secret partner. You send a model to that person, and someone else sends you a painted model. The person you send for is different than the one you receive, so it's all a surprise on what you'll get Makes it all the more exciting!
