| Hi, I'm thinking to start collecting deers but I don't know which scale the big companies use. Do you know are they in the same scale? Maybe some photos? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Tails of I) white-tailed deer, II) mule deer, III) black-tailed deer, IV) elk, V) red deer |

| I would say no, the scales are not consistent within or between brands, though you could find groupings that display in scale pretty well. I was thinking of making a comparison topic of my white-tailed deer and others, but I haven't made the pictures yet. It looks like the nice SUY topics for deer have been affected by the Photobucket issue. My white-tails form a size gradation something like this: Noah's Pals<New-Ray<Schleich<Mojo, Safari, Papo (those last three are fairly close) The Safari wapiti is relatively larger so it works well with them. The Schleich red deer family and CollectA red deer family are smaller. The older Safari reindeer (which I really like) is even smaller than their white-tails (I'm not sure about the newest one, it is probably larger?). _________________ - Andy
