| On this second day of May 2012, at last I got some pictures for the May-SUY : MOOSE AND REINDEER Spring has come to Nørager Mark quite suddenly, and has almost created chaos : Two dogs and three mares in heat Here you see the moose from AAA in the middle of critters running round like headless chickens [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]But they are nice, old models. They stook the stance and had their pictures taken [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Let me introduce the absolutely most beautyful moose, - from Kristie : Ta-daaa, the older moose from Safari [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Here togehter with the younger friend : [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Moose from Reisler --- and Max Carl [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]From Jean H¨ofler, - sorry, my computer has also caught spring-brain-damage and won´t write the "o" with dots [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The moose from Schleich [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The moose from Bullyland [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Reindeer from Bullyland. The larger ones are called caribou, but as far as I can see, it is the same animal [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Reindeer from Safari and Schleich, - they can´t get more different [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Should anybody like to write about these wonderful species ( the real, live ones), please if you will do so |

| I found a few more This first one is from K & M, and is marked "elk" Which reminds me that I am rather confused about the name "ELK" In Danish a moose is called "Elg". If I wikipede for * elk* I get some of the explanation. It seems that in British English an elk = moose. In American English an elk is vapiti, which looks very much like a red deer. But this one looks somewhat like a reindeer Or is it supposed to be a vapiti ???? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I also found some moose : From left , - CollectA, "China" and Papo [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Susanne, your Safari moose is incredibly cute!! I need more moose!<3 - SUSANNE wrote:

I had the same problem with my Safari/Schleich Authentics 'elk'. To me, it looks more like a caribou or something, so I included it in my moose/reindeer collection and not among the deer.. So here is my humble collection [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]City-moose :'D I have also that made in China -moose, but I had forgotten about him until I saw Susanne's photo : ) _________________ Krista || zombiebambiraptor.blogspot.com

| It is a hard choice, isn´t it ? The CollectA moose is nice and almost elegant. The Papo one is full of detail and action, a real Papo when they are as I like them. The Bullyland moose is powerful and confident, - a huge animal sure of his own strength Very different, something for different tastes , it is SO great The Papo Moose could easily go for a prehistoric moose, as Martien says |
