| Subject: Brachiosaurus Info Thu Sep 22, 2022 7:02 am | |
| Dear Landrover and others:
Hey, I've finally got the dimensions for my cabinet:
Each shelf will be a rectangle, all of these will be 4 feet wide, by 5 feet long. The height of this thing I haven't figured out yet, but my guess is that the distance between each shelf will be a few inches taller than the tallest figure in my collection, which is the papo brachiosaurus, I think. Or maybe it's the schleich one. Anyway, I'll have to measure that one and see.
My plan is to go to a store where they sell and cut wood, and request 5 rectangles 5 feet long by 4 feet wide. Then my friend and I will take these back to my apartment, and I'll ask my dad to help me assemble this thing. It's a great idea really, because my dad won't really be involved, so he won't really know what I'm doing, until he glues this thing together. Man will he be surprised! I'm optimistic that this idea will work, all I have to do is tell my friend about it, and see what she says. Anyway, I'll keep you all up to date on this project. I'm also thinking of recording a video of me displaying my collection, and I was wondering, would you like to see it? Obviously, I haven't made this cabinet or the video yet, but when I do, I'll let you know. No new additions as of yet, but I'll let you know if anything changes.

| Anna, I hope you are lucky with this project and we surely love to see how each collectors displays his figures. If you will have the chance of sharing a video, it would be great for sure. |

| Subject: AAA elephant info needed Tue Sep 27, 2022 12:54 am | |
| Dear Sts Friends:
Hey, I have a question, for those of you who collect AAA figures: Is the african elephant connected with number 53009 hollow or solid? And when the listing on ebay says 15" does that mean 15 inches tall or 15 inches long? Just wondering, because this figure is on my searchlist, and I'd like to get it in the future. Anyway, any help solving this mystery would be great.

| H&H Winners' Circle describes the huge elephant as made of pvc in a rigid plastic similar to Schleich and other brands. So, I assume it is not hollow but we can't trust completely those descriptions because they're often copied from other sales. |

| Subject: News about the cabinet project Wed Sep 28, 2022 3:33 am | |
| Dear Sts Friends:
Well, at this point, it looks like the cabinet project for my collection has been put on hold for a while. The reason? Probably too expensive to make. Oh well, maybe someday. For now, I'm leaving my collection in boxes. No new additions yet, but hopefully, I can place an ebay order at the end of nexs month, so we'll see what that yields. Also, I'll be placing a Safari order in a few months, so there might be some news there too. As for other news, the sculpture garden that my elves have started continues to expand. I'm thinking of turning it into a half sculpture geaeaarden half museum. Anyway, it's just an idea. Also, does anyone else have Ja-ru figures in there collections? Just wondering, because I have one in mine. It's a Ja-ru starfish. Anyway, not much other news to tell, so I'll keep you posted if anything changes.

| Subject: AAA horses not on Taw Sat Oct 01, 2022 4:36 am | |
| Dear Sts Friends:
Hey guys, tonight I was looking through my collection, and I discovered that I have a few AAA horses that can't be found on TAW because they don't have pages or pictures. They are listed in my collection reference guide as horse foals, but really, at this point, do we, as collectors, have any evidence as to what AAA made for horses? I'm saying, am I the only one who knows about AAA horse foals, or are there other AAA horse collectors? For those of you looking for quality in a horse figure, AAA horses are about as high quality as the other major brands. The problem is: getting a hold of AAA figures in the first place. Anyway, I think I digress. But you get the point, right? I'm saying there are figures that exist in my collection that hardly anyone knows about. Man oh man, I wish could get you pictures of all the figures I have, but at this point, that's impossible. As for other news, sometime soon, I really don't know when, I'll be starting a website for my toy cathedral small business thingy. At this point, there are a lo%t of little details to be sorted out, so it could take a long time. But anyway, I just thought I'd let you all know, in case you wanted to visit my website when it's ready. At this point, it isn't, but I'll keep you all informed. No news for neer additions, but that could change. Anyway, if there is more news in the future, I'll let you know.

P.S. My website, hopefully, will have a photo gallery for my collection, which you all can use the photos for TAW. |

| There's a page on TAW listing a few AAA horses with a few foals. Click here for AAA Horses They have a nice quality but they're not as good as Breyer, CollectA, WIa or Mojo. I'm sure you have a lot of rare figures that we don't know, even those Ja-RU are not very common among collectors. I know Vallérie has a few. |

| Subject: The Story behind the Ja-ru Starfish Sun Oct 02, 2022 2:20 am | |
| Dear Roger and others:
Hey, here's the story behind the Ja-ru Starfish. See, I just found it at a resale shop a little by accident. At the time, I thought: "Well, this looks interesting, I think I'll keep this figure." It was only later that I found out it was Ja-ru. Anyway, about the website I'm planning on making, I think I'll %j show pictures of figures not listed on taw yet. This means figures who have a page, but the link is red. Which means there's not picture. I figure it's the least I can do for the editors of TAW. Anyway, I'll keep you updated about the website, and also if anything else happens in my collection.

| Subject: Okay, I really don't know what to put here, so I'll just put something because it's required. Mon Oct 03, 2022 11:13 pm | |
| Dear Sts Friends:
Okay, guys, you've got to read this post, because the following description of a certain mythical figure is really cool. This figure doesn't exist in real life, although I wish it did.
The Description:
This figure looks a lot like Safari Ltd's Mothman, except that his wings are spread wide, and they're transparent, like ice, and painted a lovely shade of icy blue. On his body, he is wearing a sort of armor which is half crystal, and half metallic silver. At least that's what it looks like, but remember, this figure was seen in a dream, so the details might be a little fuzzy. Anyway, going on. Instead of the Mothman's usual insect feet, this figure has huge bird feet, like a harpy. His name is: The Ice Mothman. When he was first seen, the material he was made of looked like the sort of plastic that Schleich and Safari would use. In other words, this figure was very high quality, and would probably fit right in with any fantasy collector's stuff, if this figure existed. Sadly, it doesn't. Oh well, atime least the description is cool.
Anyway, let me know what you all think. I originally saw this figure in a dream, where someone was showing me and a few other people some random figures which weren't released yet. The guy said that these were new for 2023! Isn't that wild? Anyway, I just thought I'd tell you about this because it was so cool. Oh man, if Schleich or Safari could pull this off, that would be ... well ... how do I put it? A sort of miracle. I doubt they'll do this, but you never know.

| Dear Sts Friends:
Hey, for those of you collectors who have brick-and-mortar stores, or online businesses, please note: Starting November, Safari Ltd has increased there minimum wholesale order from 100 to 250 dollars. I don't know if this will make a difference on this forum as a whole, I just wanted to let you all know what's happening from my point of view. Also, I'm going to Tractor supply tomorrow, so we'll see what figures that yields. The current total in my collection is 2381. Also going to VOA, so hopefully I can find something good there too. And I guess this is all the news I have to share, so I'll postf there's more.

| Dear Sts Friends:
Hi again. Hey, I was wondering, is there any news from Bullyland as to what's in store for 2023? Just wondering. Also, just F.Y.I. on my forthcoming website, I'll be selling used figures as well as new ones, so you'll have plenty to choose from. Just so you know. At this point, the website itself so still theoretical, since it doesn't exist yet. I still have to talk with some people, and see about getting someone to help me with designing it. Anyway, I'll keep you all posted.

| Dear Sts Friends:
Today, I went to Volunteers of America, found a little bag of random stuff which "had two figures in it, one a gecko which looks really old, maybe vintage, and the other a Safari Ltd Marine Iguana, probably from some toob or other.
I also went to Tractor Supply, and purchased a Schleich Braunvieh Cow, and White Tailed Buck. Both of these were on my searchlist. The current total in my collection is now 2385.
And that's about it for news, so I'll post if there's more.

| Dear Sts Friends:
Hey guys, last night I was looking at some ELC listings on ebay, and I started thinking: "I wonder if these ELC figures are as high quality as Schleich or Safari?" So, for those of you who collect ELC figures, the question is: are they as high quality as Schleich? By high quality I mean the standard PVC solid type of figures, not cheaply made hollow ones. Anyway, any help solving this dilemma would be really useful for me, as I'm on the hunt for ELC fairies, tower of doom figures, and other ELC stuff.
Thanks in Advance,

Well, I went to the lego store today, and found a few new hair pieces for my lego minifigures. I also found a lego manta ray. I also received a box of figures from a friend of mine, and here is a list of the ones I'm keeping:
Grasshopper unknown maker.
Hippo (Maybe schleich, but I really can't tell)
Horse (Same story as the above hippo.)
And a plush sea turtle.
The current total of my collection is now 2404. I just thought I'd let you all know how things are going.
Well, that's about it for news, so I'll post if there's more.

Hey guys, I have this Toy Major gecko figure. It says Madagascar Gecko 1995. Has anyone heard of this figure? Because it's not listed on taw, but it should be. As for news from my collection, the current total is now 2403, or thereabouts. I think I might have to do the math over again, but oh well. No new additions, yet, but that could change. Anyway, if anyone else has heard of this toy major figure, let me know.

| Anna, I'd say more than 90% of the Toy Major models are not listed on TAW. Maybe your gecko belongs to a series of 12 large reptiles. If you get someone to help you, could you ask if it is marked with a letter inside a square? Here is the page with the 1995 reptiles: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |
