Schleich 2019

Not impressed with much of the models-only real interest is the Quokka and the Okapi.

Have also just seen the Shibas and the puppy set so they may be of interest but think I will wait to see them in person.As someone has pointed out on here already Schleich stockists in the UK a lot of the time will only stock popular models and sometimes the newer/odder models are not stocked at all-I have checked numerous shops and still cannot get the Hereford cow form this year-so will wait to see how many of the new models will be stocked!!

In reality most of the new models look quite good, especially the Tarantula and the Quokka. But the Racoon looks really horrible.

Schleich sympathetic but a lot of ordinary numbers for a former collector like me .... weariness takes me

I´m a big horse fan. And I am sorry, but each year the Schleich horses are worse and worse. Anatomy fails, details fails, proportion fails. All of them and all in them, is horrible. The only thing that is good is the qualuty of the material used. But I am very disapointed in general.

love schleich's new eldrador creatures line and that new scorpion and griffin are amazing!

i wonder about the size of that diabloceratops. it looks kinda large. hopefully it's about the size of typical safari's ceratopsians

also what the heck happened to their horses? they are so odd looking now- long bodies, short legs, weird muzzles and the hair sculpting looks so unnatural. I think I prefer just buying their older models on eBay.

and their other animals are much cuter now, very Disney looking.They have really changed their style as a company.

As far as I can tell, it looks like Schleich is done with Marvel and DC. Has anyone heard any news proving or denying it?
