Yes! Finally! In my opinioin the actual lioness was a wierd change. It does not feel right. The (2010?) model was better.

Someone on the DTF has posted an image of the new Animantarx. I'm obviously not going to link it here, but I will be willing to PM the link to the thread if you can't find it on your own.

EDIT: A different user has also found the Spinosaurus.

What Schleich is doing with the animantarx is something that I suggest for a long time. Brands can build a consitent and balanced range of figures using somewhat obscure creatures. A kid searching for an ankylosaur like creature will not care if the name of it is ankylosaurus or animantrax or whatever. So, this figure can take commercially the niche of market reserved to an ankylosaur. By the way, the figure seems attractive to me.

Just found an image of the Quokka from a German website. I have to say, for a modern Schleich figure, it doesn't look too bad. The figure is a bit cutesy, but it isn't too overexaggerated in that regard. The proportions seem fairly good as well.

Although, let's be slightly more honest, a quokka are the perfect animal for Schleich to make due to the whole 'quokka happiest animal in the world' meme, which fits perfectly within Schleich's philosophy. Still though, it is a good decision on the part of Schleich, and I might get it to show them that.

I saw the images of both the Animantarx and Spinosaurus. While the Animantarx seemed more or less standard, I thought their Spinosaurus looked amazing. The only constructive critique I have is that I'm not sure how he would be able to balance realistically with his arms not touching the ground, but otherwise, he was an excellent representation. However, I doubt he will be the size that I'm looking for.

Hey, I just thought I'd write something regarding the Schleich lineup for 2019. I was just thinking, I really hope we get more mermaids soon. That would be great. As you all might have guessed, I am a big fan of Bayala, so it would be great if they did do more mermaid stuff. Otherwise, I think the lineup is great. I've already taken notes regarding my own collection. Now it's just a matter of getting a hold of all the figures that I want. The moon unicorn though would be a nice addition. I'm so excited about what's coming that I can barely write this post correctly. Anyway, I think you get my meaning, don't you? Well, if anyone reads this, just know that, for me as a collector, it is very hard to get a hold of schleich. That might change in the future though.

P.S. I've been thinking of starting a photo gallery of my collection. What do you think of all that? Good idea? If so, then more pictures for this forum, and a lot of owrk for me. What I mean is, if all of you want to see my collection, then you are welcome to, but for me, my collection is so huge, that I will have to sort through all of it be fore any pictures can be put on this forum. Well, that's all the news for now.

Yes, this is save to share. They posted it themselves on Instagram (they have over 45.000 followers) on their own page, everyone can see it. So yes, absolutely save to share.

I've seen the animantarx and Spino too. I think they look pretty good actually, but I can't say I wholly approve of the spinosaurus converting to the quadrupedal posture. But overall I might have to get these ones, I do like them.

Is this company gone backwards. The Wildlife is a joke. Another Lioness, Lynx, more Dinosaurs, Wolf, and more deers. Can't they expand into other animals that haven't produce before. Like the Serval, Jaguarundi, Cupelo, Sandcat, Sun or Asian Bear etc. They lured me into a hobby that I will never complete the collection I want, unless it's from their competitors Safari seems to be more on the upswing. Schleich is pathetic.
