They're very cute, and, apart from the bear, they're animals I didn't have in my collection :)
As for the Procon animals, I never knew CollectA had a previous name. :) I couldn't find anything when googling. :) You're very welcome! You can see/read a little bit more about the Jakks Pacific figurines [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. I really hope to get the hyena model one day! I don't know when CollectA figurines started to be marked like that, but I do have (for example) the 2006 European badger which is marked Procon. I also believe I have a deer calf which could be from the same family as your deer. I'll see if I can find a photograph of it.. |

Here are your Procon (CollectA) deer on TAi: CollectA 88019Red Deer Hind CollectA 88020 Red Deer Stag And this is the calf I own (not my photo though): CollectA 88018 Red Deer Calf As you can see, they were all in production from 2006 untill 2011. I have no idea how hard they are to get nowadays. |

I also believe I have a deer calf which could be from the same family as your deer. I'll see if I can find a photograph of it.. The company was renamed from Procon to CollectA around 2007. But some of those figures were still being distributed for years. The original 6 dinosaurs from CollectA were sold as Nature's Wonders. And the Scanopedia Hyena is one of the few that I have (the others are some of the prehistoric animals). They are decent models, despite the big blue indented hole on them. The line lasted maybe a year and then sputtered out--I think the concept was good, but the execution was awkward, and the models and pen were too expensive for what they were. A hidden chip would have made the toys more playable; the scanner needed to be less expensive somehow. And that is to say nothing of the poor distribution of the series. _________________ I used to have an online store, but now it's a Blog exploring the variety in my collection! | I had these 2 fish since I was 10. They appear to be similar to Play Visions but they have no logo, company name, or species name on them. Plus, their paint jobs are different than the PV tropical fish. The one on the left is a flame angelfish. I don't know what the other one is. | ???? Some PV copies have very strange colors sometimes so it is maybe unrelated to a real species. I hope the forum specialists will help |

| The one to the left is a Hawaiian Flame Angelfish and the one to the right is a Orange-Faced Butterflyfish. Neither are Play Visions, I own multiple small tropical fish like these. |

Now that is exactly the point what Christophe mentioned. Often these models are bad copies, and in colours which are not realistic, and not belonging to any species whatsoever. Only think of the copies of the 6 Schleich corallfish. Good in model still, but no real colours! So it is anyones guess which species this should be.

| So yes, they are models of fish, but no real species, because they combine the wrong colours and patterns with the wrong shape in most cases...

| I am not a fish expert but these copies often use molds randomly. Sometimes the same mold is painted with different colors so the mold often doesn't match the painted species. In this case, I think the painting should be prevalent to the identification. :) |

| Exactly, and as a fishexpert, and i can say that after 40 years of keeping tropical fish, beeing an international author on tropical fish, giving lectures even on universities, and beeing a teacher for everybody who is selling fish in the Netherlands... But i am not a real expert in coralfish though, although i know a lot from this field also. But that all doesn't matter, as any collector of animal-models can see that a lot of these models are far of the reality... |

| I think, this is the original "OEM version" (or "body") of the Safari Brahma bull. |

| The sculpt looks the same but measurements provided in that page doesn't match the Safari figure. Could it be a rohling of these Nayab that are not copies because they're smaller? |
