Thought more about Nayab because of the size. _________________ ~Karin~

| Hello, I am sorting my icebears and found two icebears marked with the sign siku. I looked on the TAW and found no picture. Then I remember susannes website and there I found a picture of the SIKU icebear but the picture shows another icebear. Now I search in my box of icebears and I found some nearly same icebears. But some are looking to the left and sometimes the position of the feets are different. What are you thinking? Benno. Where did you find that photo ? It is surely my picture, but I do not remember this one It looks like the old [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], but is not on the folder. - Babdo wrote:

I have the one to the left on the above picture. It is from a play set as far as I remember. I have a rhino which could be frome the same set. And also a heavy horse. I entered them in TAW a long time ago, but somehow they are gone now |

I can’t remember a Siku polar bear. This one looks a lot like a Marx one which is a copy of the Clairet one |

The one in the centre is a copy of the early version Britains polar bear. The one to the right looks like a less faithful copy. I don't know who made them. |

Thought more about Nayab because of the size. AAA made also some mini animals like This lion. They have the same eyes.

I can’t remember a Siku polar bear. This one looks a lot like a Marx one which is a copy of the Clairet one They were sold here as complementing figurines with OMO washing powder, there was quit a wide range of slender typed animal, thet came in several colours sometines. The polarbear was always in a creamy white or yellow. If there were original made by Clairet, you can tell that better mon ami.

| The model of Susanne was never a Siku model for sure, they always made fuller models, not the flat ones! Actually, i never saw a Siku polarbear in my life! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I think this was about the complete range of Siku figurines... |

| Susanne, the Indian one horned rhino and polarbear look very much like the early middle range series of Schleich, they might be marked Siku, but couldn't they be just Schleich copies? |

| Hello thank you all very much for your information! What a wonderful sight on the vintage models. Are all Vintage SIKU models marked with the SIKU logo? Oh, I must turn them all on the back! I will write and show you what I find. See you later, alligator! Benno. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |
