| Congratulation for the good job Christoph I have three questions for you. What do you mean by scale changed ? What part of the CollectA Gomphotherium legs did you cut ? Is it easy to customize a 3D print like your African forest elephant ? |

| Thank you again everybody :)
@Kiki: For example the American Mastodon. On shapeways it's in 1:32, so I modified the scale to 1:35. For the african forest elephant I used the 1:48 model of the bush elephant.
Regarding the Gomphotherium, I cut ~1cm of each leg right over the ankles, as for me the legs look too long. Now the shoulder heigth is below the african elephant and that's okay for me.
For the forest elephant, I needed just small changes. I cut a litte bit off from the ears to give them a slightly rounder shape and I bend the tusks, so they are now more straight and point downwards. For that, you need to heat up the model a little bit. Not too much. _________________ Christoph

| I don't think it's still matching the Diorama category. All elephants are now here: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] _________________ Christoph
