Corrections for Toy Animal Wiki

Between those two I prefer the 2nd option. Other alternative is to keep these two series as Aquameridian since I believe that's the way they are known, with the link to the For Corporation page and the new sets on the For Corporation page.

I've changed both names, I move the shark to the proper page. For the lemming I let it in the Genus level page since ther is only one true lemming know for now.

Working on some things and noticed that the Safari Great Smoky Mountains red-cheek salamander https://toyanimalwiki.mywikis.wiki/wiki/Safari_Ltd_Red-cheeked_salamander does not have it's item number. It should be 677104. This is listed on the figure's tag.

When the Safari Ltd Great Lakes Fishery Sea lamprey gets added, it should have item number 100992, also from the tag.

The Larami blacktip shark was specifically marketed as C. limbatus, not C. melanopterus based on the packaging and corresponding photo.

I just noticed something that I'm not sure how it would be dealt with.

The red Translucents salamander by Safari is listed as a 'red salamander', but the model is actually a recast of the Yohnalosee salamander (and, to be honest, the body proportion of the translucent figure is not correct for the red salamander species). Might be better left as a 'generic' lungless salamnder.

It makes sense. I think the red here is just to mention the color of the figure and not necesarily the species. I don't think they want to represent a golden salamander either.
For collecting purposes isn't it better to list it as a Yohnalosee salamander? At least it will be listed with the original mold... what do you think?

That's how I would suggest treating it, with a note that it's listed as the red translucent!

I agree. It makes sense to list it as a translucent version of whatever the original sculpt it.

Thanks for your opinions. I moved it from red salamander to unidentified lungless salamander and i mentioned and linked the red translucent salamander page to the Safari Ltd Tennessee Aquarium Yonahlossee salamander page.

this looks to have been modeled after Dimetrodon. Was it marked Spinosaurus? If so, I bet the company took and old Dimetrodon model and remarked it as Spinosaurus. I know it's fairly generic, but it is in no way a Spinosaurus.

I asked the same some time ago. It was made after an Edaphosaurus and the red version was sold as a Spinosaurus. These dino figures are really super inaccurate even for their time.

I love these mistakes! It's just a Lipizzaner with the wrong jersey. Interestingly the Jersey cow and the 2013 Lipi have the same number. I remember Susanne absolutely happy when we completed the Safari horse series on TAW. I fixed it since I found a picture of the horse in this topic.

Really Now I know what a gelding is.
It is the same thing as the previous one. The filename is too simple and the product number of the horse and the cow is the same. It is probably the latter picture replacing the previous and with the Wiki migration the unused files had gone.
I will try to find a picture of the Percheron. If I don't find it, I will use an official one since we have permission from Safari to use them.
