| Quite impressive! How did you finish the antlers? It looks like it would be very tedious to layer the clay by hand. |

| After dominating the sculpting and painting technics, you are also able of dominating the processes of creating molds. That is one of biggest challenges for manufacturing. You are a complete Artist and your works have more and more a level of mastery hard to translate in words. |

Haha Christope now the final photos begin Geospiza, at first the wings and horns of my figures made them with the putty on a wire, but it was really difficult to place it and stay fixed on it. Now I use a metal sheet that I cut and shape on which I extend the putty ... Thank you so much Caracal ! Roger, what can I say about your words about my figures, thank you very much for continuing my work during this time and for me it is a pleasure that you are liking !! _________________ Miguel [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Likaon - Wildlife Models Shop http://www.likaonmodels.com/ My homemade models : www.signatustudio.com |

| I have finished painting the figure of the megaloceros based on the testimonies left by our ancestors on the walls of the caves and recent studies on how their appearance should be. A light head-neck fur color and a brown body that would change hue according to the time of the year. The hairy and black hump as well as the dark bands on the throat, shoulders and flanks are the most represented features in the paintings and that most define the species ... The final photos once painted. | Undoubtfully the best Megaloceros model I've ever seen. I also don't believe that any regular manufacturer will ever make anything close to it. Stupendous figure and again a step forward in your "repertoire". |

| Many thanks friends !. I'm glad you like the final result once painted You are right Roger, so far no brand of figures has decided to make one of the megaloceros, although it must be that prehistoric animal figures have less sale than current ones. _________________ Miguel [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Likaon - Wildlife Models Shop http://www.likaonmodels.com/ My homemade models : www.signatustudio.com |

| What a great model Miguel! Well done! It's such fascinating creature, love it! How many hours does it took you to create this from scratch to paint? I think this must be one of the most complicated ones. _________________ Stijn. My Site with 3D Printable Animals

| Thank you Caracal, wolfie, Stijn and bjarki ! Stijn, Well, it depends on the figure, there are more complicated animals than this one, but it usually takes me about five full days of work to make sure it has been as I want and correcting errors. In this case the antlers add more complication to the work and, in the case of birds I have had to add the modeling of each feather, etc ... _________________ Miguel [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Likaon - Wildlife Models Shop http://www.likaonmodels.com/ My homemade models : www.signatustudio.com |

| Thank you Andreas and Tristana ! Well Tristana,Yes, from this figure I will make some copies available through my pages. But it will take a while because at the moment I am involved in another job that I cannot ignore and it occupies me almost all the time. I estimate that copies of this figure will be available more or less in a month. _________________ Miguel [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Likaon - Wildlife Models Shop http://www.likaonmodels.com/ My homemade models : www.signatustudio.com |

| Hello friends !. At this time I have been making copies of the megaloceros and adding one more element. I will give the option to offer the copy of the figure with, or without base. In principle it is not necessary for the stability of the figure but it can add an interesting nuance.... | It should be noted that the colors of the fur and the peculiar shape of the hump correspond to recent studies about how it should really be and that they really surprise for the traditional way in which the megaloceros has been represented. That is, like a huge brown deer and more like a giant wapiti.
