| Absolutely stunning. The base adds some more detail and intricacy to the model. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | Thank you very much for your friendly words about this figure . Very thankful !. In general, those of us who collect animal figures prefer to have them without a base but I tried to see the difference by adding one to this irish elk figure and I think it is quite balanced, perhaps more elegant. Although not necessary at all for its stability. I present a photo of the whole group. While both deer male together would end up being a wild battle. | I have also taken a picture with a human figure of schleich to represent how immense this species was in life. Really impressive !. | Such amazing work, Signatus. It's very interesting to see your work process too. How did you make the copies? Can you reuse some of what you did for the original figure (like a mould?) or do you start completely from scratch? |

Thank you ! ! . Yes rogerpgvg ,I first model the figure with a resin that hardens with heat and once finished I make a silicone mold of the original. It is from this mold that copies are made of polyurethane resin and then painted with acrylics.
