Tell me Kosta, since the model you are using is a spotted hyena and you are making the legs and the body longer, are you not afraid the brown hyena will look too large next to other hyenas in your collection ?

Oh, finaly ...
These days I am so lazy ... didn`t find power to work on this project .. and it was sleapling with me for a long time ..
But last 2 days (actually nights) , I found some inspiration, and finaly I finished the sculpting of the fur .
It was a challenge, to work with this material , which doesn`t give so much opportunity, but at the end, I think , I did some fine texture details .. not perfect, but ok ...
At least I hope it looks like a fur of brown hyena :)

When I finished with the clay, because I am afraid, that when it is dry, it is not so strong , I desided to cover it with a special glue, made it for decoration .
I hope like this I am protecting the model more and it will be stronger.
That`s why you will see on these photos, that now the result is very shiny :

Now Jack will be covered with a Surface Primer in white color and I will show it again

I was precisely thinking that we had no news of this project for quite a long time

I think it will look great. Now the hard part is over, repainting it awsomely will be a child's play for you !

Kosta, Jack looks amazing and he’s getting better and better with each step
I love the details you put on this fur. You haven’t just cut the layers with a knife (as I was doing ), instead you managed to get nice furry texture.

Being lazy, - I know exactly how you feel .
One day just passes after the next one, - where did it go ?
Friday three people called me, and I was almost irritated because they disturbed me in my cocoon

And then I am so more lucky than most, because I have all the critters that need looking after, and the large areas of forest and coastline, where I rarely meet anybody ....
+ at my age I don't want/miss to hang out with the friends or all the things one does when young

The face is the only thing, which I didn`t touch Yes, I think, because I made the ears longer, now it looks different
