I can't believe I forgot to post these earlier, Starlux Prehistorics

Thanks Susanne, the Tipple_Topple anteater has been on TAW for a while now, the tail is pretty distinctive I think. Mine has Austria on it so it's definitely Tipple-Topple

Wonderful prehistoric Starlux additions! Tha'ts a remarkable series. Very Happy
I love the anteater for sure. Your model as a snout apparently more curled than usual but it is actually beautiful, it looks like a little trunk. Interesting that you used a Lego block with your ameisenbar. Wink

Yes, I have finally moved to doing just the LEGO block now, for time. The little sign I have used for so long takes a while to change each time you switch company. I think the universal nature of the LEGO blocks and their same sized knock offs make it a good indicator of relative size.

Yes, it was a very fortunate buy. The seller didn't mention that they were Starlux just where they bought them. So I got them for a good price considering the age and quality.

My latest additions today. First will excite almost nobody but me. It is the Auburn Rubber Company wheeled horse team from the 1950s made of hard rubber. One of only 2 things I was missing from my Auburn Rubber collection. Now I just need the wheeled mule team from the same era.

Next are some things that will excite at least a few people. Pfeiffer Tipple-Topple horses. I think these are all post war. they match up nicely with the 1950 catalog and most have Austria printed on them.

In the catalog this one is the Belgian Horse. I don't know that the coloring matches up with that. So when I add to TAW do you think it should be under Belgian as in the catalog or just under Draft Horse?

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

and here is the running horse, some paint issues mostly unseen in this photo, but a nice model

In the same auction with those two horses I won 4 others, 2 colors each of the Standing Horse and the Shetland Pony

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I think the lighter pony looks like it's meant to be a Fjord horse, do you agree?

From a different seller I got this great displaying peacock that is also Tipple Topple. I previously had the one with tail down, so now I have the pair.

Interestingly, from the same seller who had the peacock I got this Nayab anteater. It is a larger size one. It shows up on one of the Nayab catalog pages and is part of the larger series of 24 I think? Rogerio?

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

That is all from my most recent buys. I have other things on the way. A few nice Lineol animals, including the yak!
Thanks for reading!

Wonderful additions and I like that you keep in an anteater mode. Very Happy I love the Belgian horse. I think you should list it as a Belgian, looks a massive horse with a relatively small head, good for a Belgian. The color is also good once it represents the European original breed, also known as Brabant that is common in several colours. You're maybe thinking about the American Belgian Draft that is usually chestnut with flaxen mane, somewhat like the colors of the Palomino standing horse you're showing. By the way, no breed for these wonderful standing horses? I don't think the ligter pony is supposed to be a Fjord. Though, I will let it to Susanne, Paige, Kelly or any other member more horse oriented.
Could you link me to the catalogue page of Nayab where you found the anteater?
Figures of the 24 series are really small, they weigh 8 or 9 grams only.

Hi Roger, the Nayab is on Animal Kingdom/ Wild Animals/ W6
part of item numbers 143 2.5 inch to 4 inch Wild Animals
and 142 4 inch to 7 inch wild animals.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
actual size is 5 inch - 12.5 cm long
says only Made in China on it, no species. Quite light, I don't have a scale here

Thanks Kosta, the draft horse is in really great shape for it's age and the material. I got all the horses in a group together for a great price, they were listed as Austrian composition horses.

Thanks for that link, Tim. It will be helpful. For some reason I've never found that particular page.
Now I understand why you suggest the polybag models to be all moved to Nayab. There is a comprehensive catalogue page and we can use it actually.
I thought you were referring to the much smaller Nayab wild animals. Laughing I didn't know these were also 24. Your anteater seems to be from the 143 set indeed. These are hollow and species are never marked contrarily to what happens with those from 142 set. The weight is not needed. There are a few figures I didn't know actually like the extralarge spotted skunk, for instance.

Wow, it's like looking at museum displays! You have some wonderful historic pieces here.

I think the pony maybe just supposed to be a palomino. It looks like the mane/tail are white or light grey? A Fjord would show a strong dorsal stripe running into the creamy manes and tail.

Bay body, grey mane ...it must certainly be bay silver dapple , IMHO Wink Laughing

Ulrich Raue calls the ponies "Schottland ponies" , I suppose that means Shetland ponies, and ( even if extremely rare these days ) they do have the silver dapple-gene Very Happy
In his book it is showed with 8 different colour, and there is a foal also Very Happy

Tim, I started the migration of the Wild Republic Polybag models to Nayab Large Figures.
It will be made gradually and for now I only listed these two sets of 24 you linked (142 and 143).
They are all at the same page but I may create a single page to each assortment later.
We have almost half of the models already pictured and you can introduce your giant anteater as a large, not an extralarge model.
I can't identify two of them, the Nayab page does not allow me to magnifiy the pictures as much as I need, I mean the figure that looks like a black panther and the yellow mongoose, maybe a slender mongoose? Need help from you or anyone who is able to identify them. If anyone have their larger versions, they are marked with species. :)
I know James, Doc and Kevin have some of the missing ones but they're not very active on forum anymore. Sad
