I still have to check the new invertebrates from CollectA. But today, I've got the new Edible Crab from Papo and it's also a masterpiece:

That's a really nice crab figure, and new species in toy form (I believe). Some sites are selling it as a 'dungeness crab' (which it is not) - probably the usual transnational error we have come to expect sometimes with Papo. I buy my figures from the US or Australia and so far no one has many new Papos yet...

It's not that huge. The Crab is nearly as large as the the Black Widow from Science and Nature.

Wow, that's great. I'd much rather it be that size rather than, for example, a Safari Incredible Creatures figure

After I found out that the Sawfish from Schleich is another species than the one from CollectA, I've got the Largetooth Sawfish. And I've got the Safari Chimpanzee with Juvenile, because this one shows perfectly how a Chimp model should look like:

Never thought about the sawfishes that the figurines could present different species scratch

So the CollectA is a Largetooth sawfish? What species is the Schleich one? I only have an older Bullyland sawfish

I also like that chimp. Baby has lovely hands and the skin is lighter than mother's skin. Safari is great!

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]: the Sawfish from Schleich is a Smalltooth sawfish. It has the right colour, which is often described as mouse-grey. Moreover, both dorsal fins have exactly the same size. This can be only found on this species.
