| Yes, it is Safari, which, in my opinion, is anatomically the best Arctic hare figure. |

| Oh, that's what I get for posting late at night... it is the Safari figure. My mistake! _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | Yes, that's the Arctic Hare from Safari. Like Blaine said before, it's the best model of this species. It fits really nicely in this environment. |

| It was a very cold day indeed Susanne! Thanks everyone! I spent the weekend cleaning and dusting my collection, it took 2 whole days. I also realized just how much it has changed over the last year despite (or perhaps because of) the pandemic. So here is a reshowing. Please, if you have any questions for closeups, comparisons, etc. don't hesitate to ask! I am happy to help. I am presenting in roughly reverse order of last time. First up is prehistorics: full bookcase view [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Top down: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And my favorite growing shelf/group, all the "OLDIES" [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]_________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | And to think I usually say I don't "actively" collect dinosaurs... In my defense, about 1/3 was "inherited" (my brother's Paposaurs), 1/3 I find at thrift stores for cheap, and 1/3 (the more interesting portion) I bought full price retail. Lilias, you always know what to say to make someone feel good. I hope showing my menagerie is exciting and helpful. Thank you Taylor and Fernando also! The dodo is truly a great model, if you don't mind it's size. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | Ohhhh, the feeling when the shelves and models are free from dust, and every model has just been in your hands What a great collection of dinos, you have ! And a lovely mix of brands, - I see all the "big" brands and some I do not know There is even food for some of the smaller raptors |

| For not being your active focus, that's quite a nice prehistoric collection! I see you have Safari's best Toobs :) _________________ Where I try to find the best figure of every species: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

| Thank you Andreas, Susanne, Adam, and halichoeres! Adam I know the feeling! I am very particular also, or try to be. But I've learned that organization is difficult in this hobby. You kind of just have to learn to be satisfied with your work before you develop an aneurysm. And halichoeres, yes, as I said a good chunk was inherited and after that... some I just couldn't resist! I have a weakness for certain many nondinosaurians and new species and spinosaurids. Luckily, I realized just before the toobs were retired just how unique the prehistoric crocs, sea life, sharks, precambrian, etc. were! Such weird and magnificent creatures... they had to come to enrich my shelves. Up next is my aquatics, mostly sealife species. Overview: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Top-down: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]These fish shelves have been a nightmare to display as I always feel that I can't see some or they look to cluttered... I have finally reached a compromise where it looks the best it ever has, but someday... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]My horseshoe crabs are some of my favorites from this category. I need the CollectA soon! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Shark species have been a project of mine to improve the variety. Just 2 or 3 years ago I only had the basics like whites and tigers. I'd say I've improved...
