Wonderful, wonderful, they just look fantastic, your fish are especially appealing, and I need to get my hands on the AAA elephant seal as it seems well scaled with the Maia & Borges mold I love you cheers Applause Applause

Impressive displays of Aquatics! Fish models are surely not easy to display, unless you collect exclusively seahorses with bases. Laughing I wished I had a shark collection like that.

Impressive job.
It always is a nightmare to display many figures on a shelf and make them all look good.
If you are like me, then it's important they each have their own small stage to shine, without standing in the footlight of another. It can take weeks until everything is to your liking.
Don't worry. Just keep fiddling with it. You will find the sweet spot. sunny

Thank you Adam, Andreas, Roger, Lilias, Simone and Fernando!

Andreas that is the Yowies USA trout cod! A rather nice model I think.

Roger your joke is spot on! I have often pondered that while getting frustrated trying to stand my Safari leafy and weedy seadragons and the other baseless seahorses.

Thank you for your confidence Simone. This particular category has been a project for a few years now and someday I will get all the pieces oriented perfectly! That day will be one of satisfaction.  Very Happy

Thanks for the comments on my sharks especially friends! Several years ago in my younger youth I had very little understanding and thus liking for this group of animals. Honestly I feared them like many people do. But, as has happened multiple times in my life now, I decided to educate myself on them regardless and instead I discovered how magnificent and wonderful they are and thus have been fascinated ever since! Goes to show how hatred comes from ignorance and at the very least understanding comes from honest endeavor to educate yourself. My favorites are the deep sea species, frilled sharks being my favorites. I've tried to build that group and thanks to Safari mostly, I now have many lovely figures of unique species. The ragged tooth shark is a highlight from recently, such a great figure! I'm glad to see shark lovers are here too. Wink

Thank you Taylor. :)

Next is my farmlife, a bookcase and a half. I bought two short bookcases a month or so ago, so you can see one now and the other shortly. I will be busy tomorrow so this is an early upload.

I could spend hours just looking through each shelf- just heaven for a dog lover! drunken I'm not sure where to begin, it is so amazing! cheers And sorry if I come up with quite a lot of questions! Embarassed
I love how you have all the gentle giants at the top- SO many of each as well, St Bernards, Great Danes, Bernese Mountain dogs, a whole mixture! You have some really wonderful old Bullyland BMDs, and the Danes are so impressive, I would love to know the stunning ones that are at the far left and right of the group? Very Happy And the CollectA Bernese Mountain Dog is a real beauty! I love you
The second row made me smile just as much, you have the most wonderful group of rotties (I'd love to know what brand the one is just left of the group) , and the Papo Neapolitan Mastiff!!! bounce bounce cheers This figure is so rare now, and so expensive, but it looks just beautiful on your shelves, I really hope I'll find this doggo before long! And your wonderful, wonderful custom Caucasian Shepherd, and another beautiful mastiff type dog next to him too- I can't quite make out the brand/ breed but would LOVE to know! sunny bounce
The COLLIES!! Rough Collies, if Bonnie could see (Other Bonnie!) she would definitely be wagging her tail, which is a lot for her as she is one of those calm dogs, and you know that is she twitches her tail she is REALLY happy! Very Happy I am especially in love with your Keenway collies, and the beautiful custom collie, and you have the Chap Mei! bounce A Saluki, Poodles and Bullyland Ridgie, and a wonderful Spaniel type dog next to the Munsterlander to the left- is it by Ertl? Very Happy
And the row after that had Golden Retrievers, and not just one- soooo many of this breed I love so much- wow! affraid cheers cheers I love you The lovely retired Papo, and the Schleich, their male golden that you have far right is one of my favourite models of this breed! Very Happy And all the Goldie puppies too! bounce Such a fabulous Dalmatian family, and also... the Papo Weimaraner!! drunken So rare, so wonderful, and such a joy to see on your shelves, I really hope I find this wonder one day!
Amazing labrador collection too- soo many! Shocked Schleich, Bullyland, Safari (Including that gorgeous rare yellow lab) and the rare Wild Republic one too, and the little New Ray labs that are so hard to find out of their larger set! Very Happy I would love to know the brand of the 3 labs just right of the Afghan, I love how they come in the three lab colours drunken Is it Tree House Kids or something? study
The beautiful, beautiful huskies, the Schleich family are among my favourite of all dog models, but you have so many! Shocked So sorry for asking again but I would love to know the brand of the two either side of the CollectA, they both have such proud 'huskyish' faces! drunken And the pair of Brittanys, the Ertl really stands out, has so many characteristics of this spaniel- love this model! I love you And the Papo is perfect in every way, so glad that this lively, fun breed has a couple of models to its name! Very Happy
The next shelf made my jaw drop open- look at all those German Shepherds!!! affraid What a collection, and each one in their own style just bring together the brave, handsome beauty of this breed! The two behind the latest Schleich are beautiful, I'd love to know the brand of these two too! I love you And another two favourites of mine, the Schleich GWP and Papo English Setter, these two hunting dogs fill me with so much joy each time I see them, they really capture these two breeds-I must find that setter one day! Definitely one of the models that first catches my eye when I look through all your incredible shelves! sunny And the Border Collies!! LOVE this breed, and all your models, the stunning Irish Setters, Bullyland's Bo, and the fantastic (Akita?) in front of your spaniels, is this beauty a custom? Very Happy Wonderful Boxers too, including the rare Schleich! And if it was even possible, there were then more shelves!! bounce

Very Happy And beautiful Aussies, I'm in love with your merle custom puppy! I love you And you have entire packs of Shiba Inus and Bull terriers, so many models that I just love here, you really do have so many delights, and models I never knew existed that come up to the standard of those by major brands! cheers If you have loads of time, I'd love to also know the brand of the bigger Shiba Inu on the right!  sunny
Amongst the Schnauzers the two rare older Schleich caught my eye, especially the Grey one, this rarity always catches my eye!! drunken How wonderful that you have him, I think I'll just have to save up to pay the price of this beauty now, it's amazing how much retired Schleich can go for! pale
What a great selection of those characterful Hood Hounds!!! And the Bassets, who couldn't love a Basset!  I love you Very Happy You have such an excellent pack, all looking up with that gorgeous doleful expressions, and the two either side of the Schleich are so realistic- if you have loads and load of time if possible I'd love to know the brands of these too! Final row, I think my head is spinning with dogs!! geek  jocolor
The characterful Schleich crossbreeds, I love their creativity that they showed with these dogs, and what delightful Chihuahuas, I think it is the little Kaiyodo, but this little pup has just the right Chihuahua expression, your Japanese dog figures are just exquisite! cheers I love the white one next to Schleich's 'bandana doggo', I'd be so grateful if you could tell me more about him, reminds me very much of Sandy and also has some sort of 'Maremma Sheepdog' look about him- which I love! Laughing  I love you The delightful Toto model, cavaliers, pugs and soooo many Dachshunds, I think if i were to see anymore dogs I would explode!! Very Happy  Very Happy  Very Happy
Wow, wow, wow, all I can say is thank you for sharing such an AMAZING dog collection, I'll return to this page many, many times in future! A beautiful collection and a lot of different breeds of dogs. It is always a joy to see some breeds that are not mainstream as I have dogs, that are not mainstream myself.

Thank you Fernando, Ana, Roger, Rakel, and Bonnie!

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], you have a pair of Landseers don't you? If I am remembering correctly they were puppies when you were last here. I hope they are doing well! I have a not so common breed myself in my household. There should be more like that in my opinion. :)

Bonnie, I knew you would like this category, but waking up to your enthusiasm has put a permanent smile on my face for the day. Very Happy It is so nice to have another dog breed appreciator with your youthful exuberance around. I am feeling much better so far today, but since I was so out of it yesterday I have a few things to do before I have all the time in the world to answer your questions! And never apologize for asking, that is how you learn and I would not deny that. Wink Give me a few hours and I will answer all, but from what I can tell some of the answers are custom/chinamals repaints and unknown brands, but I will answer what I can.  sunny flower

Yes, I have a landseer, but unfortunately he just got diagnosed with hip dysplasia yesterday, so I am crossing my fingers and hoping there is a functioning treatment for him - because as you remember - he is a young dog still.

And I have a hovawart too, though she is without papers.

I don't believe I have seen either breed as a figure - have you by any chance?

Oh thats right, a Landseer and a Hovawart, wonderful breeds! I am so sorry to hear about the hip dysplasia, on such a young dog... that is a crime. I really hope you can find help for it and make him more comfortable! My Decker Rat Terrier just turned 3 and I'd hate to see him develop any health concerns, my best wishes for your dear dog.

As for models no, they have not made any of those breeds. They would be ever so lovely though if they did!

Ok here is my stab at answering your queries. Very Happy

Your first question I think is about the great danes? The far left with erect ears was a customized Papo model done by Lea Magga, I painted it tuxedo. The far right is Bullyland.

Rottweiler on the far left is Bullyland again.

I have 2 customized Caucasian Shepherds done by Lea, the left is the Papo Newfoundland painted by me and sculpted to be the guarding type, while the left was a Bullyland St. Bernard sculpted and painted by Lea and is representative of the working type.

Those are both Munsterlanders, at least according to TAW. Bigger one is Funrise and smaller is Schleich. (My domestics are currently grouped by breed)

The Safari yellow Lab I just barely found last year after years of looking (his brother was lonely...). The ebay seller had him listed as a Golden Retriever.  Neutral Those three Labs are Tree House Kids indeed, there is a lighter yellow one I will get sometime, but the brown was hardest to find!

Huskies, to the left is the 4D Famemaster puzzle dog from my childhood and right is the Safari model.

GSDs, left behind latest Schleich is ERTL if I remember right and on the right is the old Safari (need the puppy)

Sharp eyes! That is another Lea custom mould and paint, the old Schleich Husky into an Akita.

Beagle on the right was a china model I repainted into a lemon Beagle. Very Happy

I'm not certain the giant Shiba has a breed, maybe Taylor has more info as I got it from him.

Bassets, left is a New Ray custom painted by myself and right is the rare K&M tube model.

The giant Chihuahua? Comes from the same set as the Shiba, so I'm not sure on brand.

The white dog is sort barbie-accessory-ish, not sure as I got him from a thift store...

Let me know if you have any more questions!
