Here is the fourth model of set 2 , the Tiger :
It is for sure an interesting model. I like the roaring pose , the expression , the colours . It has some nice details too. All this makes it unique looking model. But at the same time it is a bit odd looking, because of the lack of good proportions. The body is too bulcky, the hind legs, too thick. The profile of the face is also not very good for a tiger. But the size of the model is good :) And for sure has some charm too . Oh yes...and it is one piece
So let`s see all this with a walk around it.
First photo for TAW :
Here it is , with the mini Eikoh models, tigress and cub :
And with the Eikoh lion, from the first set :
Last photo with Papo :

You have no idea the joy you give me with all these walk arounds. Almost every day we have something special to appreciate and discuss. The design of this tiger is a mix of the proportions of the earlier models of the older major brands with the tension we could find in some AAA tigers. Its first big news is the good size. Its best attribute is its unique design as you pointed. What I commented before doesn't remove the genuineness of this model. It is not comparable to Papo or current Schleich models but Schleich took a long time to make a decent tiger. However, I find the design apealing and exciting for tiger lovers. The conspicuous shoulders and concave body profile were clearly a decision to give more tension to the animal figure, though, it gives a very low point of gravity to the figure what together with the very thick legs make it looks very short-legged. I'm looking forward to see your next topic and start introducing this series on TAW.
I love this tiger- it's wonderful that we now have this species made by Eikoh, in their unique and lovely style! I love the pose and expression, and how it scales so well with the other tigers, and of course all the details that you showed so well with such excellent photos! I can imagine that it would look stunning if you repainted it, your tiger tutorial was just amazing!

AS said Blaine those Eikoh are the PV of the future and the bigger models confirm that. A bit weird, but still well made, just like the old PV.
The first official pics wasn't very attractive for me, of course it's still difficult to compete with Papo tigers, but it has is own charm. I like the way he rolled-up lips showing the fangs ! Not the most beautiful of the team, but with real personnality
Thank you for the good job Kosta
