| Does anyone know of any brands/toy companies that have Hyena cubs? I have ordered 2 from Bandai Kaiyodo WWF Japan Exclusive African Hyena & Cub Figure Set. They were on eBay and a little expensive. I have not seen any others in my research. i have made a hyena den out of clay for my diorama but would like more than 2 cubs. Even if you see the Bandai Kaiyodo WWF Japan Exclusive African Hyena & Cub Figure Set somewhere I would think about buying another pair.
Thanks! Seanie _________________ Shawn

| I can't think of any besides the old Bullyland. When you get your Japanese ones I would like to see them here! Goodluck with your search, if I see anything I will let you know. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. The description says they are pups and they look like pups. Chubby, short legs. Which description ? You are talking about Kaiyodo bandai WWF... A Bandai Kaiyodo hyena pair doesn't exist, Bandai and Kaiyodo are two different brands. I was talking about the hyena pair fom Bandai I have and I never read anywhere that they were cubs. Sean if it is the seller description, it is only his point of view. Could you show a pic ? |

| That's what I thought, they are the Bandai I was talking about. This series is made up of pairs of very small animals, some of which are mothers with children and others only adults. These two hyenas are adults. They are very small, around 1/35 scale.
You will find them on TAW HERE |

| Of course you can but for which adult ? They could fit as cubs with the PV or Jeol hyenas but I'm affraid you will find their size really small for a "1/22" mother. |

| When I saw the title I guessed it was the Bandai figures. I would recommend getting help from someone with contacts in Japan. They show up on the auction sites there for quite a bit less than you would on ebay.
I was lucky to get mine when they first came out. Only Japanese company hyena until the Colorata one (which I don't have). And not counting reused models like the K&M with a gashapon set.
I had never thought of using them as cubs; they'd have to be older cubs since they have their markings.
The only other cub was a AAA hyena cub, but it was paired with their weird model that looked like a poorly painted African Wild dog, so too big for most commonly available figures. And also, not much of a hyena figure. _________________ I used to have an online store, but now it's a Blog exploring the variety in my collection! | [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Here is a set of them on Japan Mercari through buyee, I have used this third party before and the experience was great! The shipping takes a long time but as long as you’re patient it works great. As far as hyena cubs go I have yet to see any, and it is rare that I came across a hyena I haven’t seen before. |
