Dear Sts Friends:

Hey, i was just thinking that I'd like to create a sort of photo gallery or web page, to display photos of my collection. What do you all think? Here are my reasons for starting this:

1. This page would give access to the moderators of this forum to copy pictures from the original page "into the appropriate sections of Tai.

2. Someday, there would be videos of me telling stories with my collection.

3. The page would probably help other AAA collectors. Because what if you're a collector of AAA and you're looking for a lion who looks like the walking lioness on Taw, but he's a boy lion, not a girl? See? That's where My page could come in handy. Yeah, I know what you're thinking: "But Aschuck, this sounds like Tai!" And in a way, it will be sort of like Tai, only the page will be for my collection only. So, the real question is: What do you all think? Do you like this idea? Please reply to this topic with your thoughts if you do.

Aschuck

I would love to see photos of your collection if you are willing to do it! Sounds like a big project but it would be fun. And I think collections fulfill their best purpose when they are shared with friends. :)

I can't wait to see your collection !!

As Paige says, it will be a huge project, and I truely admire you for wanting to do this for us I love you

My old boss said : If you do not start, you will never get it done Laughing
That has sometimes helped me....like once I was so stupid to buy 50 m3 of firewood, which had to be moved inside the barn by ( my old, arthritic ) hands and a wheelbarrow geek
It took me a year, but now I have had wonderful, dry firewood for 10 years cheers

Maybe a small channel on Youtube could be a good idea. With short reviews under your perspective. How these figures are effective as sensorial tools to enhance your knowledge and stimulate your interest for this subject. These figures are much more than simple animal replicas and you know it. Maybe you could built a little community around it, sharing your experience and promoting this important vertent of these models.
Companies are actually not very aware of it, when reading their documents, it seems Safari Ltd is the only of the big brands that has an obvious sense of social responsability. Ironically, they're also the brand in troubles these days.
Here's a Youtube video that can give you some lights how to start
