| I always have been fascinated by sea reptiles, since, I think, my so far youthness when I red for the first time "Voyage au centre de la terre" by Jules Verne. So, from time to time, when I have the opportunity to get some for a cheap price, I dive back with. Elasmosaurus: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] .. or Hydrotherosaurus: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Both are from CollectA and at the same scale: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

| Lovely new additions Alain! That Elasmosaurus is high on my list, I LOVE the muskellunge imitation paint scheme. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | so beautiful I love them both Alain! congratulations! I really like the spotted coat of the elasmo! I too love these old sea reptiles. I think it may have had something to do with Nessie?! and growing up not far from where Nessie lives, and looking a little like these two |

| Plesiosaurs have been always present in litterature, cinema and almost every kind of cultural manifestation. They're bizarre creatures, nobody gets neutral when watching a skeleton or replica in a museum. Fortunately Jules Verne took us to the misterious internal Ocean were these creatures still exist. |

| Animal Planet sold some unmarked Chap Mei figures, often color variants or with mold changes, mostly the electronic ones. Though, I've never seen that version. Looking at their faces, I'm not completely sure they're happy for being rescued. |

| Thank you Christophe! Here they are: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] jaw and rear legs moveable, just carved: made in China Tyrannosaurus rex, not much bigger than the old Starlux one [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] here is the very little giant sloth from Panini [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] .. very common on flea-markets! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] the leopard is a cheeta from K&M .. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] .. at an unusual scale, here with old Starlux and Ougen ones Here the very little tiger without any mark that I took because I had never seen it before: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] .. here with one Omo one (big size) For me the big catch was the Blue shark from Schleich, the mako one from Safari (50c each), the Chap mei caracal copy and very Dire wolf, the old 92 UKRD Apatosaurus.. and also the vegetation! :) |
