I don't think it is a Nardi, the end is different on this one, more closed to the body I think. I first thought it was a Pfeiffer but it isn't. Another msyterious thing I guess |

| Nice lot! Were they new? What size are they? I recognise the puffin, but what species do you think the other birds are? |

| We know these as Nayab, I guess but as it happens often with Nayab, they might be something else. I really love the hoopoe, I don't think we know other models of this emblematic bird. |

I don't know if they were new for it was my first visit in this shop.. about the birds, the blue one makes me think to Victoria crowned pigeon, the 2 black ones to puffins yes, the tall 2 others maybe to cranes and the yellow one to a gull (?).. I hope somebody will help.. :) Here is a comparison picture with Starlux crocodile little model: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] I was very happy to find Komodo monitors at this 1/32 scale! |

Yes, haven't you heard about the blue crested hoopoe? They're endemic to aquaria and you only can find them there. Sorry, I went to the TAW page about Nayab birds and while watching the hoopoe I brought it to this topic. I was really refering to the blue bird but it is not a blue hoopoe. It might be the 2nd version of the crowned pigeon, no? |
