I love how small the platypus is, 8 mm or so. It is a pity it is so rare. Congratulations for finding one.

A bit larger, 2.4 cm in length . By weight, it is possibly the most expensive plastic you can buy. Even so, for strict 1/32 scale, it is too large, but I understand why Britains didn't make it even smaller.

24 mm is much larger than 8 mm. I don't know why I immortalized this size in my head. I've read it on forum a very long time ago and it will always be a 8 mm figure to me. I should have considered the size of the bottlecap as a traditional one. 8 mm is incredibly small, I don't know why I insist with it.

Thanks, I paid £8.00 for it so I think it was a good buy. I think it is an unusual subject as a toy I guess.

My female African Elephant lost her tusks and I have been unable to find a replacement set of originals. I guess a lot were lost over time. I did however find a set in white metal (cast from originals). Just need to paint them :)

I think it is a good idea to give even more dignity to this stupendous model.

Yes that is true

Another addition to my collection. Looks at this magnificent beast!!! The tusks are replacements made of metal so I got it at a reasonable price £20.00 about $25.00. Most of these appear to be going for much more. I never had this figure as a child so I am super happy to add him to the collection.

I have him as well and I think he's one of the best models of an African elephant there is.

Finding lost teeth after all these years is surely not easy. It is an impressive figure, congratulations for finding those tusks, they make a huge difference in an African elephant.
