As far as I am aware this bull was made in black, brown, Jersey & Ayrshire, but a Friesian bull in this mould was never made but cows were? Has anyone seen a Friesian bull?

As far as I know, Britains never made this one as a Friesian bull. Barney Brown's Britains farm animals book doesn't mention a Friesian. The Britains painters sometimes had some artistic freedom, so I wouldn't be entirely surprised if there are a few out there, but Britains probably didn't intentionally make them.

Sorry, my English is limited and I really don't understand why you think this mold was also available in Frisian colors. Are there cows that go with this mold in Frisian colors?

I understand now. Maybe one of our Britains experts can give you some light about it. According to this website, apparently the bull never received a Frisian version.

According to this website, apparently the bull never received a Frisian version. Yes it appears the Friesian bull was from the old lead mould only along with a brown and white version. |
