| I made an interesting find here: AAA figures sold under the label SIMBA (according to the seller ca. 1990; I think I can see the date 1993 on the price tag (13,99 DM)) Each pack of Dino-Wonderland Prehistoric Collection contains 2 figures: 1 adult specimen and a hatching baby. Unfortunately, I was only able to buy four of 6 different packs: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]All have the same item number: 43 4297 [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]As an overview: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Closer view: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Here is the proof that it is AAA: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The figures of the hatching babies are available as single figures in different color variations. From single figures I have also added the two missing "couples". [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Whether the Pteranodon (greeting to pipsxlch) belongs to this series is beyond my knowledge. According to Dinotoyblog there is also an adult Pteranodon: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]But it might be too big for this series: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] (Last image) But the figure is still on my wish list. However, the hatching baby also appears larger in relation to the others. On the other hand, the item number consecutively joins the others. I have taken the item numbers from the WEICO tags: Example: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]90030 Allosaurus Egg 90031 Triceratops Egg 90032 Stegosaurus Egg 90033 Apatosaurus Egg 90034 Dimetrodon Egg 90035 Parasaurolophus Egg 90036 Tyrannosaurus Egg 90037 Pteranodon Egg |

| Hello back! Very interesting information in how it fits and yet doesn't... maybe as the last of the apparent series it had a shorter production run? That could maybe explain why it seems more rare than the other hatchers. I have never seen it before yours. Since the adult is apparently huge (never seen that one before either) perhaps that's why it's larger than the others? Probably overthinking it I notice the egg is a slightly different shape also, maybe it is related to that.
Ah well, thanks for sharing it, it goes on my wishlist! |

| Congratulations! Does it seem to fit in with the baby? _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. I don't know enough about size relationships of dinosaurs. But for me the "adult" looks like a teenager who still has to grow. Both pteranodons don't really want to fit to each other and to the rest. It's more of the same style than a coherent series. |

| The series of AA custommer companies do not necesarily correspond to the AA series. The same for product numbers. Considering the sequence, those belong all to the same series at least for this brand. Thanks for sharing! |
