Today's animals are: Rabbits and Rodents
Another relatively little section consisting solely of Schleich models.
Let's start with my Rabbits.
I can hear them screaming "Daddy" while "Daddy" tries to close his eyes and pretend he doesn't exist

I assume that he might be a German Riesenschecke but Schleich didn't give him an official breed.
This Rabbit is another model from the "uncle-batch" and I really like it. He has a rather unique pose and looks quite adorable. His colouring is also nicely made. This model has simply a good portion of personality
I decided to name him Paulchen after a real Rabbit that I was familiar with once.
Now a little bit more about his character:
Paulchen is a kind but slightly nervous Rabbit. He is a little overextended with caring for all his little kits and is therefore really looking forward to be reunited with his wife. Otherwise he is always ready to help other creatures and loves his little troublemaker kits. Paulchen is friendly and polite to everyone around him and is looking forward to be reunited with his wife again sooner than later.
Schleich Rabbit Kits[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Here we have Schleich's set exclusive Rabbit kits. This mould is genderless and I keep the beige one as a male and the grey ones as females.
The beige one came from the 2019 Farm World advent calendar (he is called Sunny), one of the greys comes from the 2020 Horse Club advent calendar (she is called Rainy) and the last two ones come from Schleich's vet clinic (These two got the names Stormy and Cloudy). Unfortunately I don't remember how I made the difference between the grey kits so I don't remember who of them is who but at least I remembered their names.
I think that it's a rather cute mould and I really like their fur texture. Same as with the kittens I would love if Schleich would make more colour variants instead of nearly always using the grey one.
Here is a short character description for them:
Sunny is the shiest of the siblings. He doesn't really like to participate in the whole trouble his sisters make.
Rainy is also relatively shy. She likes to help out her father and tries to stop her sisters from making too much trouble.
Cloudy and Stormy are real troublemakers. They gnaw on everything they can find and try to steal carrots and lettuce from other members of the kingdoms. Their father has quite a hard time keeping them somewhat calm.
And here is another family pic: Finally all in the right position.

98983b Guinea Pig[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Here we have Schleich's set exclusive Guinea Pig. This one came from the 2023 Farm World advent calendar. It belongs to my brother and from what I know he didn't give it a name yet. This mould is genderless.
I do like it even though it looks slightly crazy with it's big black eyes. But this model certainly has a nice colur scheme.
They even painted his little paws:

42502 Mouse[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Here we have Schleich's set exclusive grey Mouse. It came from the set 42502 "Vet Clinic with Animals" and belongs to my brother. This mould is genderless and my brother keeps it as a male. Due to it's size we decided it to be a mouse kit, so it can be the "little one" for bigger Mice from other brands.
I like this little mould. It looks fine enough for it's size and his colouring is acceptable as well.
My brother decided to name him Mickey.
Now to my two wild Rodents and the last models for today:
Meet the Squirrel family
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The ones who remember one of my first posts on the forum might recall these two. I think I only discovered during the photo shoot that the little kit can stand up like this.
14684 Squirrel[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Here is Schleich's red Squirrel moulded in 2012 and released in 2013. Mine was made in Portugal. This mould is genderless and I keep it as a female in my collection.
This model is another one from the "uncle-batch". I love this little Squirrel
She is a very lovely model and probably one of my favourites. I think that she looks quite detailed and I love especially how they made her tail. She is also nicely shaded and I like how she holds a nut (or something like that). A very beautiful Squirrel overall.
I decided to name mine Sandy after the Squirrel from Sponge Bob.
Now a little bit more about her:
Sandy is a rather calm and friendly Squirrel. She loves to spend time with her little daughter Maple and watch her play with other creatures. From time to time she likes also to spend time with her forest friends and exchange some funny tails with them as she is known as one of the kingdoms' most famous story teller. Sandy is always kind and polite to all creatures around her and is looking forward to be reunited with her husband again.
98269c Squirrel[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Here we have Schleich's set exclusive Squirrel. Mine was part of the 2020 Horse Club advent calendar. This mould is genderless and I keep mine as a female. It is most definitely not supposed to be a kit but I decided it to be one because I already had Sandy in my collection.
She is quite cute and I like how her tail was made. She looks slightly funny with her sort of attentive pose.
I decided to call her Maple because her colour reminds me of autumnal Maple leaves.
Now a little bit more about her character:
Maple is a sweet and energetic little Squirrel kit. She loves to run around the territories and jump over the tree branches. Maple likes to meet up with her friends and go on their little adventures. She is friendly and polite to all creatures around her and is looking forward to be reunited with her father again.
And here is another family pic:
