The STS 2024 Banner Contest

I vote for banner 5. As all figurines are chosen from 2024.

The images dont show up for me. It only shows a link with no pictures

Number 2 is so elegant and to the topic.

Just voted for number 4. Number 1 is cool, but for a figure collecting forum, makes no sense to not have figures in the banner. Number two is nice, but too much mammal focused.  Number 3 is lacking diversity. Only mammals and a bit crowded.

Number five almost got my vote, but failed to included invertebrates and fish in the banner.

So number four takes the cake, thanks to a great variety of species, including fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals, plus several types of invertebrates, also being careful to pick interesting unique species to depict. It is colorful, clean enough that the many figures shown don't bother the eye (mine at least).

Same as me. I design the AFT banner and I always pic figures from the year the banner is presented in, hence I want 2024 figures in the 2024 banner!

Well done to all those who took the trouble to come up with these lovely works of art for our Forum. I find it very difficult to opt for just one, but I have gone for number 4, based on the clarity of colours against the black background, and the great variety of shapes of the many different creatures, filling the area nicely.  But really, they are all fantastic!

No 3 is my vote because of Jeol! :)

I‘ll go for 4 for the same reasons ikessauro mentioned.

I have also made my choice, but what matters most to me is to thank everyone who was involved in creating these beautiful banners and thus contributing to the vitality of our forum. The active participation of the community is the most precious thing it can offer to itself. The forum wins, and we all win.

Excellent banners to choose from!

Even though it has not yet received any votes, I want to say that Number 1 is very cute with all the smiling animals and the really adorable fennec fox and the wise hippo! - well done for all the time making it! The intention behind it is truly wonderful and makes me smile every time I see it :)

I want to second what sunny says about Number 1: it is indeed cute, and it is a bit sad that no-one has voted for it so far (myself included), but it's good to know that it will get its turn at the top, regardless!

Banner no. 2 is the best for me :)

With five days to go, the competition is tight between No. 4 and No. 5

1st Banner: Drawn by hand animals. No animal figures abused in this banner! = Minimalistic
2nd Banner: "...Fog clears from the stage and shows our last 4 champions!...Tucan says: FIGHT!" = Competitive
3d Banner: Real animal figures used to make letters and final banner = Artistic
4th Banner: Real life rainbow animal colours displayed on black background = Futuristic
5th Banner: Animal head shots. Say cheese! = Photo shoot after family therapy

I have a hard time choosing one. But I would like to show my appreciaton to all that entered the contest. Thank you all for your time and effort. We all wish we could enter, but we lack resource and knowhow, because we are incompetent or old. Maybe both.

Unpopular opinion: Maybe the people who voted for 2 and 3 can be gently persuaded to change their vote to one of the two top votes sofar.
