This thread I will post photos of our animal toys compared to real animals, with their names!
People can also post their favorite animals compared to the real ones study study sunny

Antelope jackrabbit:

The antelope jackrabbit (Lepus alleni) is a species of North American hare found in southern Arizona and northwestern Mexico that occupies dry desert areas. The antelope jackrabbit is found in a variety of tropic and subtropic habitats. It can be found in grassy hills or plains, species is large, with long, pointed ears and distinctive fur coloration.

Giant panda:
The giant panda (Ailuropoda melanoleuca), also known as the panda bear or simply panda, is a bear species endemic to China. It is characterised by its black-and-white coat and rotund body. The giant panda is found in only six mountainous regions in several provinces. It is also found at elevations up to 3,000 meters (9,800 feet) above sea level. Its diet consists almost entirely of bamboo, which makes the bear primarily herbivorous, despite being categorized as a carnivore.

White Bengal tigers:

The white tiger or bleached tiger is a leucistic pigmentation variant of the mainland Asian tiger. The white fur is caused by a lack of the pigment pheomelanin, which is found in Bengal tigers with orange color fur. When compared to Bengal tigers, the white Bengal tigers tend to grow faster and become heavier than the orange Bengal tiger. For a white Bengal tiger to be born, both parents must carry the unusual gene for white colouring, which only happens naturally about once in 10,000 births.

Reindeer:

The reindeer or caribou(Rangifer tarandus) is a species of deer with circumpolar distribution, native to Arctic, subarctic, tundra, boreal, and mountainous regions of Northern Europe, Siberia, and North America. It is the only representative of the genus Rangifer. Reindeer are the only successfully semi-domesticated deer on a large scale in the world.

Great idea for a topic. Were these photos that the sculptors used for their modelling? I think it is interesting that very few animal models are fully realistic (regardless of brand), but some create a more pleasant impression than others. Exactly why that is, I often find very difficult to define. For example, I love the Toymany jackrabbit even though its legs are unrealistically thick. Actually, I prefer the look of the model to the real animal Very Happy. And I like the reindeer even though again, the horns and legs are too thick. I like the pandas less because I feel that their poses are slightly unnatural, even though they are very close to the photos. Exactly what I don't like I find hard to describe. Perhaps their bodies are a bit too short. Perhaps the first panda crouches a bit too much and the second panda doesn't look as relaxed as in the photo. Hard to say. The tiger is nice, but its neck seems a little bit short.

Famously, Lonesome George was the last Pinta Island tortoise, which died in 2012:

I have two models of Lonesome George. A CollectA mini (also made in standard size):

And a Kaiyodo:

The CollectA is a more accurate representation of the real George (especially the carapace), but I think the Kaiyodo is more beautiful.
