| I love the fleemarkets that are held on an old square every summer in my town. I havent missed a single one in years, ´cus you never know what your gonna find. Sometimes I find dozens of great figurines, sometimes none. This saturday was one of those times with no animals But I found one animal, and I´m a little curious about it. It´s a big hippo that looks a bit older, the material is light but hard, and the surface is a bit cracky. Cant find any mark on it. Does any of you recognise this "little" hippo? With the old schleich hippo, for size; I also found a stand where they were selling painted rocks. I didnt buy any (they were not that good looking), but I thought, "Hey, that looks fun", so on my way home I picked up some smal rocks. And last night I tried to paint a few of them. This was the result (I´m not going to show my first two tries, they look horrible ) |

| I love the hippo Anna! But I can't help you identify it - he's really nice though. Your painted rocks are so great! While on Holiday in cornwall, we often see rocks with pictures on them for sale - some of the rock shapes actually look like animals. We never bought any, but thought it was a nice idea and gathered a load of rocks from the beach. We never got round to painting them though! _________________ Harriet My *Collection* My *Handmade Animal Sculpture*

| What a fantastic find on a flea-market Anna! I knew what it was, but Christophe was before me, so that is cleared then! You made nice pantings on those rocks! _________________ http://www.collectorsquest.com/collector/1313/willybacoman
