I have been so lucky to win some Starlux figueres altely on Ebay.
Some come fron Torben`s collection. The kiwi, eagle, beaver, and an adorable little fennec. Poor Torben and lucky me Rolling Eyes

Of course I had to just LOOK at starlux on Ebay.fr. And saw some mainly prehistorics figueres on an auction that was about to end at very low price. For fun I put a small bid in, - and to my immense surprice I won them Shocked

So my Starlux-collection more than trippeled lately Laughing And I am happy Very Happy

I know this brand also not so long. If i begin really collect animals again, i search in the www and find collectorsquest and Torbens homepage- and so i find starlux, Noahs Pals, Yowies Uk ...........

Big congratulations from me Susanne!
I just love Starlux since i knew the brand, and that was even before i knew the crazy macaque, haha.
The range of models and species they made is really out of this world.
Not accurate as possible, but this was the same at other brands of that time...
They are beatifully painted, and they look even lacked...
They can be brittle indeed, but the plastic is quit hard, so it is not always as bad as it looks... Rolling Eyes
