| Yes, STARLUX made this one in 1972 and the other in 1981.
STARLUX produced also two different mammoths and diplodocus. |

| Kiki is not the only that is not very confortable with the white marks of the babboon, I think other monkeys are not interested in shaking the hand of the new cittizen. I hope everything is fine with the figures but of course it is always better to prevent. Gnus are wonderful and Clairet zebu looks a limousine, not a Limousin! |

| Thankyou, dear friends I just googeled Wikipedia, and found this about the Psittacosaurs : It is notable for being the most species-rich dinosaur genus. Nine to eleven species are recognized from fossils found in different regions of modern-day China, Mongolia and Russia, with a possible additional species from Thailand. All species of Psittacosaurus were gazelle-sized bipedal herbivores characterized by a high, powerful beak on the upper jaw. At least one species had long, quill-like structures on its tail and lower back, possibly serving a display function. Psittacosaurs were extremely early ceratopsians. Although they developed many novel adaptations, they shared many anatomical features with later ceratopsians such as Protoceratops and Triceratops.Amazing there are so few models of them, - but it also explains why those three are so different...I hope Safari will soon make one again...and CollectA one more |

| Congratulations Susanne, I would never guess that the Starlux figure is a psittacosaurus. Though, I like its concept and is by far the oldest of these three. Some figures have large eyes, some other have Starlux eyes that is a higher level. Though, who wouldn't guess the aurochs is a Starlux? I hope you can find more about the squirrel and my favorit is the prehistoric fish. |
