| Oistercathers? ...probably not...seagulls? very likely! An absolutely gorgeous bird of prey? almost 90%! |

That's a downer! Well I gave them suggestions earlier this month on the MBA collection and telling them its dying (as replicas are retiring like the sperm whale adult), I told them to add a Blue Whale (man that would be huge) and a megamouth shark. At least I'm going to look foward to the new Carnegie additions and the new sea critters! |

Oh, that's a great news! I was hoping to see some new birds already in 2011. _________________ Owners of miniature zoos on shelves, unite! My collector's blog

| And doesn anyone has any information about which models are going to be retired next year? Even a hint anyone? I'm interested in horses, wildlife and sealife. I'd love to know which models to order by the end of this year _________________ ~Magda (formerly Mangalarga) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Blog | Facebook |

I hope Safari made a updated Wapiti,a magnificent animal. The current one is horribly made and not in size with the human figures |

| In looking at pics of the Mojo Sabre Tooth(And some of their other big cats), personally I don't care for the texture/paint job). So respectfully, I can't agree with having Mojo make more prehistoric mammals. |

Martien You're right. Time ago I talk to James from Mojo, and at least one new prehistoric mammal will arrive next year! |

| I'm not sure Mojo will bid in prehistoric mammals but I must agree than the smilodon and mammooth are really nice! When we have prehistoric figures we want them accurate as those from museum lines, not artistic representations showing a completly wrong but spectacular figure as it happens with Papo! Ok, they are beautiful but not educational, more related to fantasy lines than museum lines! |

| Roger, we all know that all figures/figurines are "artistic representations". Are they supposed to be educational? Maybe somewhat educational... Because if so, all the lines have figures/figurines that are inaccurate for the most part then. I'm mean Schleich put's their "cute spin" on their figures, and that's not educational or realistic. So the body position of the Mojo sabre tooth is fine, all I said was I just don't like the fur texture/paint job. If they had made the fur of the sabre tooth more like like the style of the Papo lioness, tigers etc. in my opinion, would look better. I really haven't looked at enough museum sabre tooth cat or woolley mammoth skeletons to know that the figures should look like. *The only thing I really don't like about the Papo sabre tooth is could have had a little more thickness to it (Little to thin "under fed" looking to me). My favorite mammoth is the Safari Carnegie adult(bull)mammoth.
